STEEM Mining for Windows (Update 1)

Download the updated version of miner from :
https://github.com/btscube/steem/releases/

Download the blockchain from:
http://www.steemitup.eu/
Copy the downloaded blockchain folder 'witness_node_data_dir' inside the miner folder 'steem-win-x64-012'.
Modify the config.ini as per your account and machine:
# name of witness controlled by this node (e.g. initwitness )
witness = "your-steem-account-name"
# name of miner and its private key (e.g. ["account","WIF PRIVATE KEY"] )
miner = ["your-steem-account-name","5YourPrivateWIFKeyIsVeryLong"]
Private key: Permissions -> Active/Owner
# Number of threads to use for proof of work mining
mining-threads = 2
You can decide mining threads as per your CPU usage and the number of processor cores.
# Endpoint for websocket RPC to listen on
rpc-endpoint = 127.0.0.1:8090
Run steemd.exe and begin mining! :)
Please note that actual mining may take few hours to start.

Am i mining now? and if i am when will i see the funds go into my steemit account? this has been running for about 18hr so far and nothing has gone into my account yet..
I am getting the same. It has been mining for 4 or 5 days and nothing showing in my steem account. Not sure what im doing wrong.
i think its to do with the Miner-witness queue. my que number is always 1 or 2 above the Miner-witness queue listed on steemd.com...
any 1 know how you get in the Miner-witness queue?

Looks pretty confusing, maybe someone with the know how can someday make an interface for us non tech guys to just drop our user i.d in and the interface will set everything up for mining. That would be so awesome!
I can make a windows application for you but that will take some efforts and may be one night to code. I may do this if someone is ready to pay or for free may be if I get some time
That's interesting so it is doable, I think going forward many people who are interested in Windows based mining but do not have a high level of comfort with the install programs would look to someone that could offer such an application. Maybe with hundreds of users downloading it the cost would be marginal? Food for thought

i have followed the instruction above but
when I Run steemd.exe it appears for a few seconds and then disappears
How i can to fix it
Try this-
steemd.exe --resync
and then copy paste the downloaded blockchain again in the same folder as you did earlier
re-run steemd.exe
Hi @r3b37 can I run multi miners in same pc? or can I setup to mine for two accounts in the same pc?
No, you should run only one steemd.exe instance on one machine
