SteemHunt

Steemhunt is an incredible project being run on the Steem blockchain that brings the world of product reviews and influencers to Steem. It's yet another awesome app taking advantage of Steem's open source capabilities.

From their website:

HUNT is an incentivising community platform on top of Steem Blockchain for product influencers who have exceptional knowledge and passion for cool new products. It’s a bridging platform for makers to reach out to early adopters for the successful launch of their product.

In other words, Hunt is a bit like Kickstarter, but with scorekeeping that makes a game out of finding the best new products.

Hunt is launching their own token on top of Steem when SMTs (Steem Media Tokens) are released in March 2019. In the meantime, get this:

Yes, Steemhunt is not waiting until SMTs are released on the Steem blockchain to create an awesome product. Anyone with a Steem account can login on their website and start reviewing products.

They have a great knack for design, too:

This is a well made project led by Steemians @tabris, @project7, and @astrocket.

Airdrop!

There is no ICO for this project. There is an airdrop, however, for Steem Power holders. You can stake your claim to Steemhunt tokens (which will be distributed to you when their SMT goes live) on their website, where you'll get 1 Steemhunt for every 1 Steem Power you have (this does not require delegation or giving anything to Steemhunt!).

It pays to hold Steem Power.

Conclusion

Steemhunt is a top Steem project that is expanding the Steem blockchain's capabilities in new ways. Steemhunt also shows that using the Steem blockchain doesn't have to be clunky and technical, as their gorgeous design demonstrates. Spend a little time over there and get excited as we get closer to HF 20!
