Where in the World is Steem? #2 - Africa

Thank you for the feedback on the first Where in the World is Steem post covering Europe...

I will now expand the quest beyond my home continent of Europe.

First stop will be Africa.

AFRICA

Back in the days of old Steem, there was quite an active Steem community in South Africa.

There doesn't seem to be much sign of Steem life there now. Anyone know of any currently active Steemians in South Africa?

The main focus of activity on the continent now is in west Africa with significant active Steem populations in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon.

Nigeria is likely the largest by number.

There is a Steem Nigeria Community set up by @greatness96. It has 805 subscribers but only 35 active posters currently...

The SteemAlive Community was founded by @focusnow from Nigeria. While most of the members appear to be from Nigeria it is not exclusively for that country...

There is a post in SteemAlive showing the state/city locations of many of the members - but that post is now 6 months old...

Ghana also has its own community - Steem Ghana - run by @oppongk, @njaywan and @mcsamm...

Cameroon likewise has its own community Steem Cameroon...

There are Steemit Country Representatives in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon.

Uganda also has a Country Rep - @yohan2on - but there doesn't appear to be a Steem Uganda community.

Are there any other clusters of Steem activity - particularly in South Africa or north Africa?

I have spotted @kouba01 in Tunisia. Any other active Steemians in that part of the continent?

I hope this post will help fill out the picture of Steem activity across Africa.

Not sure yet which continent I will head to next - any requests?

I also need to double-back on Europe as I mistakenly left out Ukraine, Belarus and Russia where there appears to be a very active Steem community.

    I was quite active(remember steemit iron chef) , but then saw nearly all members quiting and kinda no support from fellow whales/dolphins...

    I already talked/brought in many Mauritians who have already joined and will grow for sure organically from there.

    Ready to push and bring more users from this part of the world.
