60 Minutes of Steem : The 10,000 Minnows Project Brainstorming Session - starting in 2 hours - 8pm UTC - MSP Waves
Starting in 2 hours the first episode of 60 Minutes of Steem - a one hour show to discuss current issues on Steem.
Kicking off the series will be a special brainstorming session for The 10,000 Minnows Project.
The number of minnows on Steem, those with between 500 SP and 5000 SP, is struggling to get much beyond 9,200.
To sustain healthy growth on Steem we need the number of minnows (and dolphins) to grow much more rapidly than it is now.
In a recent post long time steemian @steevc put forward the idea of The 10,000 Minnows Project to grow the minnows on Steem.
If you are an aspiring minnow and you are looking for help to grow, or if you are a dolphin, orca or whale that would like to help grow the minnows on Steem come along and join in the discussion.
60 Minutes of Steem will take place on the MSP Waves Discord channel between 8pm and 9pm UTC.
Brainstorming The 10,000 Minnows Project
This first episode of 60 Minutes of Steem is going to be a free-form brainstorming session to come up with ideas, targets and action points to push forward The 10,000 Minnows Project.
Along with @steevc taking part in the brainstorming project will be @carrieallen (Helpie), @jackmiller (witness), @paulag (@steemcommunity witness team), @surfermarly (marketeer), @starkerz (Oracle-D) and @wwf (Stewards of Terra Mater).
The session will be hosted by @pennsif along with regular co-host @teamhumble.

Immediately following 60 Minutes of Steem will be The GAME Show.
This is a new two hour show all about games, gaming, contests and competitions on Steem.

I may not be able to catch the session live, so here are my #Steemit recommendations:
A streamlined block explorer that can show SMTs and smart contract data on the #STEEM blockchain.
Bring back views count. It helps for marketers who are not solely trying to amass $steem in explaining to clients who may want articles/blogs. Upvotes can be manipulated by bots and is not an efficient source of analytics.
Undo-resteem button.
Better Google Ad placements. I cringe when I see the Adsense ads, as a certified Google Adsense Pro I know they can be better placed.
Getting Steem.Ninga off the Facebook and Twitter url blacklists by using the strength of the community.
A pin to top option so we can pin introductions and important posts to the top of our Steemit blog.
