NSFW is a tricky grey area. In most jurisdictions, there are various regulations governing the production (and consumption) of NSFW material.
We do not want an aggressive legal interpretation to interpret our bot's upvote as either consumption or promotion of illegal content and threaten the viability of our program.
Since our bot can't tell which NSFW posts comply with the law in their country of origin, it's better to not upvote any NSFW material.
However, accounts that post in NSFW are not blacklisted for doing so (although they could be if their material is plagiarized), and they can still receive upvotes on posts that they make outside of that category. If a post is skipped, the rshares balance is unchanged by the existence of that post, and the member would just receive their value on other (non-NSFW) posts.
Good question! Probably the tag is spammed a lot? I am not sure. What about non SPAM NSFW?
