Hey pen, thanks for the tag, think im a bit late though but still think my inout would be relevant.

2 things would make it great at leastbin my opinion.

Education, have cool interactive resources to help uses learn all they need to know. Forums and wikis dont appeal to everyone. This would rely on a well put together content strategy across all media and social platforms.
A thought i have had for a long time is the gamification of steemit, like a tutorial setup thing for new users, with rewards for tasks completions and interacting with specifics. Will also help new users navigate and interact better with low RC's, help with networking, etc. Pairing up with stringer accounts for support will also be great, can be part of the tasks as users reach high levels! Just an idea, but i think it might be crazy enough to work. Lets make a Dapp?
