can you live on steem income??
when we asked this question in the blooming days of steem it was easy to be optimistic and say it can be don
but these days larn use that it is not so easy to say if you can depend on steem income
if you have good reputation can produce good content that can get upvotes easily
you can depend on steem in some expenses in your life but you can not depend on it in all of your life aspects.
when something cannot give you granted or near steady income you can not depend on it entirely in your life.
that is the realization of the situation of steem income.
i hope that someday the cryptocurrency world starts to be more stable if it ever will be.
so the people depending on it in living can live more stable life.

If I were to try to live on steem income, I think I would have to move to a 3rd world country and cash out my money there, to live a much better life than to be in the US where the money won't go too far, unless of course you're some sort of whale. Then it might be ok for you to stay in the states.
The real trick is to live well inside your means because if you can't do that with any kind of currency then the type of currency that you pick is irrelevant.
Remember it is not the amount but how you spend it and the choices you make that decide if you have enough to live.
Unless you live in California, then you're screwed because they are ridiculously expensive.

I want to draw attention towards diversification of income. We should not depend only on one stream of income. We should diversify on more than 1 stream of income. For example : we can start youtube channel, an blog apart from steemit, affiliate marketing etc.
In this manner we can reduce our chances of failure. We know very well that crypto currency market is very volatile. So living on steemit income is little risky as per my point of view.
Apart from that if we have multiple stream of income then if we are not earning from one system then this loss is recovered from other stream of income.
This is what i thought about online earning. And there are tonnes of methods to earn online. I just mentioned only 2-3 methods.
Let me know what do you think about diversification of income ?

Yeah. That question is so interesting to answer. Steem price is volatile like other alt coins. This is scary for others but if someones good in math, this volatility can be a gold mine.

I know the answer to this question for me, but it not the same for everyone. the answer for me, in NO, I do not make enough on posts to make a sustainable income to support me in my life (at least right now) Life throws at you so much and i could not take the risk of going full time steeming as my only way of making money.
maybe further down the road this will be more likely, but as of night now, just not the case.

Not unless I can get all my expenses down to $1 a day. Although you are are going to be able to buy a decent lunch on this post if you can find someone to make you one for SBD.
of course, you need to build your account first so you can start receiving good amount of upvotes
at the moment i'm not making anything from steemit, but i'm working towards it!
do not give up and keep on bosting and try to learn some strategies that will boost your account and upvotes
It is a dream that we hope to achieve one day. Perhap if I retire and I can earn some extra cash from Steem daily, it is great then. As for now, steem is down in price and most of us are still building so it may take another few years perhaps.
