Reading every day about the big steem killer is on his way. A few more days and steem is dead.

I succumb the fear and created an EOS wallet on my smartphone. Just in case. It was not that easy but also not too hard.
But it costs me 2 bucks.
FOMO kicked in. I start to power down.
EOS starts pumping as most of the coins.
Except for steem.
FUD kicked in.
I want some EOS. Now!
Wait a second. I already saw and experienced this.
Got burned every single time.
Every.
This time I'm gonna do the right thing.
I'm experienced Crypto guru. I'll go against my gut feelings.
I gonna cancel power down and walk my walk.
Power up all my liquid steem.
Watch and laugh at me.
I don't care.
Check my wallet, my friends.
Even if MEOS is a success - it will not happen overnight. Watch how things evolve and then participate if it makes sense or grows faster than steem platform.
Steem is the Bitcoin of social blogchains.

EOS has got some problems that steem has, but that'll be amplified by 100x. RC is an issue here, and it will be there as well. Spam is unavoidable(just check out what happened to whaleshares yesterday) and getting users is the hardest part and what are they going to do about it with the high entry barrier? Not everyone is willing to pay $2(that oldtimer paid, I paid about $10) to create an account.

Yes, you don't want to sell off your Steem to only find out that MEOS (that's just a place holder name) is going to sharedrop on Steem holders.
Hype and shilling is cheap but EOS is not. My feel is the entry level is too high to attract anything other than speculators and traders. They are using fear mongering and shilling against steem. The internet is big enough for both of us, anyways, if and when EOS produces a serious social media platform. Thanks for sticking with us.

Who knows but I don't really think it will be the steem killer. I am not bothered about this meos of thing. All I know is that steem will continue driving. Let us all wait and look how it will work out

I can see some people are already pulling up posts like MEOS being the Steem killer. They are giving all sorts of illogical reasons on how it is going to succeed definitely for sure.
I do agree Steem's current ecosystem is not perfect but things are improving and moving in right direction. I can't stop but laugh at wishful thinking by some that Steem worth will become instantly zero by launch of platforms like MEOS.
We will face some competition for sure but we have already seen what is happened/happening with Whaleshares, Weku, Minds, CNBT etc
lol already many steemit killers (actually steemit clones) are comes and still here but not yet worth 1% of steemit. hehe... keep calm and steem on... i am not leaving steemit.
