Steem in top 10 risers and Bitcoin Cash gaining some serious 1.6 Exa Hash mining power.

It is all green again.

Except the current market price for BCH.

More than 1% per hour!

It is almost in a straight line upwards for Steem right now. Currently back at 1.20 USD, within 24 hours, that is really a good sign. Sorting the list at CoinMarketCap dot com % Change (24h) shows Steem at spot 9. Overall in market capacity gaining a spot to 24, this doing well with all the hectic going on lately. Lots of cryptos, coins and assets, a 1069 in total, all in for a share of the ever growing total market capital pie that is almost at 146 billion USD. Maintaining a spot within the top 25 is tough right now. And gaining almost 25% in market value surely is close to amazing.

Also amazing is the amount of mining power that kicked in over a very short period of time for Bitcoin Cash {BCH}. And I did expect this to happen, like I wrote in a previous post, but not already to 1.6 Exa Hashes per second! ViaBTC cloudmining is still a big player in this, providing 33% of the total hasing power for the BCH network. Yet now 67% of the total mining power is presumably coming from all over the world. That is more than one Exa. While Bitcoin {BTC} itself lost about 0.57 Exa Hashes in overall mining power. So it seems a lot of new miners have decided to have a go at Bitcoin Cash mining. Even though the market price went a bit down for BCH and other cryptos gained quite well, this mining power boost might pump the price again. While BTC is still doing 4K plus.

Steem is back up, from below 1 USD for a while, and 24 hour volume is close to 2 million. The more, the faster, the better, who knows what is still in it. And it has been stated a few times before that in cryptos there is excitement almost all of the time. While it as a whole the capital keeps in the cryptos market keeps on growing. And stating things like Bitcoin Cash going to push Ethereum to spot 3 is almost mad, but so far it has been a real funny farm. So, if ETH drops in value and BCH more than doubles?

Well, you know I am pro EOS and so I rather see that one being the Parallel Processing Smart Contract Operating System, going for spot 2. But I guess we have to be patient for that, not until somewhere in 2018. And before that Steem will already have had its own multi-threading and multi-tasking hardfork. While Bitshares shows is the growing Decentralized Exchange {DEX} that made the centralized ones look like yesterdays old news.

Anyway, much exitement, much green, much moon, so say calm and HODL your cryptos!

Have a great one!

NOTE: Only invest in cryptos what you are willing and able to lose. And your speculation might be as bad or as good as mine...

Have any thoughts on why BTS is going nowhere?

No, it is kind of strange, just like EOS. It is still crazy how things go in the cryptos realm right now. Think coming weeks things will probably stabilize more.
