it's OK for the core devs to change the rules and rapidly iterate to see what works best. But I don't think its OK to make changes without making it crystal clear to all that the changes have been made.
That says it all for me. I agree with your thoughts completely and I hope the devs see this post.
Yes that is clear and simple and I doubt almost anyone would argue otherwise.
So that means that anything else is obsurd.
