Today,we are going to learn how breathing exercises can help tone the muscles of the stomach (abdominus rectus)

Breathing is natural, and they are lots of ways we could breath to gain more are they are called Breathing Techniques.
In yoga we have so many breathing techniques such as
1.The natural breath..(your own breathing style)

2.Ujayi breath (constriction of the throat while breathing)

3.Pratilloma/Anuloma (Breathing with one nostril and exhaling with the other nostril)
4.The Lion's breath(Breathing out with the mouth open and sticking out the tongue)etc
These breathing techniques together with some yoga poses such as the ones in this post will help tone the abs

Breathing exercises also, helps to clear our airways and gives us a calming and relaxing feel when we practice them.
It can also help people with high blood pressure and helps relieve stress and tension
But, we can also tone our abs through breathing exercises and incorporating it with some yoga poses especially those that target the stomach.

As we breath, our diaphragm contracts and expands as air enters and leaves the lungs.
So, when we breathe through these techniques, we consciously engage our diaphragm even more.

When you are stressed, just breathe in and out, when you have time to practice incorporate breathing techniques as you practice with beginners poses or any of these poses here.

Note

1.Each pose should be practiced for at least 6-10breaths.

2.Cat-Cow pose should be practiced together that is, as you inhale round your back and drop your head, as you exhale lengthen your back and lift your head.

3.Alien Wheel should be practiced by those who are no longer beginners, if you want to practice go for ordinary back bend or wheel pose.

4.For better result try to practice as often as possible.

Thanks for your time...

Breathing practice is like weight lifting for the lungs & brain. Greatly improves concentration to consciously focus on the usually unconscious task of breathing

So true @ceattlestretch
It makes us observe and focus on ourselves more...
Thanks for coming around.
