For the life of me, I can't figure out why Steem Inc would even make SBD externally exchangeable. As far as I can see it has undermined the position of Steem and thrown a curveball into the mix lately with no functional benefit to the ecosystem besides speculation, which in my opinion is not enough of a good reason.
