A Free Piece Of Advice For Everyone With ~5000 SP And Up
Anyone in possession of about 5000 SP has an overabundance of Resource Credits at their disposal. The average user transacting on the Steem blockchain needs only about 50-100 SP to go about their daily business of posting, commenting and upvoting comfortably. What to do with your vast excess of Resource Credits if you happen to sit on top of 100 times more than you absolutely need without running into hard limitations? Well, you should go to steemworld.org and open the "Tools" tab from the bottom of the stack of tabs in the middle of the landing page. After that, look at "Claim Account Ticket". Choose Resource Credits as the payment method. You can also pay with 3 STEEM that get burned in the process. I have about 6400 SP at my disposal and I just claimed one which gobbled up about 77% of my available Resource Credits. My RC Mana will be back to 100% in about five days.
Now, what is an Account Ticket? An Account Ticket is a token that represents the ability to create one new Steem account. New accounts are not available for free. The price of one account is 3 STEEM, which is currently a little more than 1 USD. If you are above the Dolphin threshold (> 5000 or so), you'll be able to claim one Account Ticket every five days or so. Because you have an overabundance of Resource Credits anyway why not put that resource to good use and claim Account Tickets as often as you can? That's three extra STEEM in your pocket once a week. 150 STEEM per year may not sound like much now but wait until the price goes up 10x again. You can use the tickets to make alts for yourself or to onboard friends. Or you can leave them dormant until they are made transferable in some future hardfork. Having a stack ready will be nice when apps start needing them en masse.
Yet another reason to own Steem Power, folks. Get more of it while it's cheap!
KeyChain returned no error text.. keep getting this when I try to do it. I have keychain also .
Can't wait to be able to claim accounts :)

Hi Markku. You are smart and good thinking as I will start this weekend. Thanks for that idea and something we can all do.
@exyle talked about it today.
BTW, I have done much less upvoting in the past couple of days than usual because my Voting Mana has been down.
Great info - I'm doing this as often as possible to build up some of these 'tickets'.
I'll add some alternative route: delegate to @steem.ninja and receive INV (invite) token on steem-engine proportionally to your delegation every 7 days :-) 1 INV can be exchanged for 1 account/invite on steem.ninja, and every tokens should be worth about 3 STEEM as well. Maybe even more if demand goes up :-) Cheers!
Thanks for the tip!
That's great . Thanks for the tip
