Well, I think you know how I feel about the delegation. In principal, if the apps would spread their vote around, it wouldn't be so bad. But they seem to pretty much upvote the same few most of the time...
Yes it was a bummer, but i'm over it now - at least I have something to travel on, even if it's not my shiny one from the UK.
With regards to the apps, I guess we just have to try to get involved with one that has a nice delegation. I have been fortunate with utopian-io, and am aware it's not everyone's cup of tea.

True, but D-Tube takes an additional 25 % and their votes seem to go to the same circle of favorites. So, the small fish gets even less from their tiny little payout...
Dlive is a bit better and more reliable too. I don't think that they have quite the same size delegation...

There's some info in this post regarding the 25% and the delegation size. The 25% is returned to the curators (via wallet sends), and dlive actually owns a little more SP :)
