RE: Where in the World is Steem? #9 - Europe (revisited)

in #steem3 years ago

I am indeed from Spain. Although the Hispanic community in Latin America is very large, it is not the same in Spain. Sadly, there are very few Spanish users.

Sort:

Any sign of new users joining in Spain? Or previous members re-activating with the rising STEEM price?

Much of the Hispanic community went to Hive behind the vote of their leaders. Thanks to these prices it may be a good opportunity to rebuild the community.

Any ideas for promoting Steem in Spain now?

At first, I am applying as Crypto teacher for a new season. My goal is a set of tutorials for Spanish speakers.

I am currently in the top producers on WAX Blockchain (equivalent to the top Witnesses) and I am creating a Hispanic community interested in trading NFTs on WAX. I would like to attract them to Steemit and encourage them to write their blogs about their experiences as NFTs collectors and traders. But my vote has a very low value and I don't have enough support as a witness.

Are there any possibilities for somehow bringing NFTs to the Steem blockchain?

Yes, it is possible. Technically it is complicated, it requires a sidechain, like Steem-Engine does, and that means extra costs. I think Steem can still say a lot more in the blog ecosystem and as a niche for communities. Maybe it is better to focus on what it can do well rather than on forced solutions.

Do you have any plans to do any development on Steem again?

I have some projects waiting for a couple of years. Thanks to the funding I'm getting from WAX Blockchain I might be able to get them going. I only need to finish some of my open projects.
