BOSS ROUND
Well sadly its time to close another IBT - this is the last post and IBT7will be in the history books. Once all the players have had a shot or 7 days have passed the Steem Boss prizes will be distributed (I will post a winners post and dish out Steem, coins and other prizes)
You have made it to the heart of the castle and finally after all this - it's time to face the boss man! He seems to be a creature thing and he isn't amused about you wrecking the country side, killing his thugs and storming his castle.
Look out! he's about to cast a spell...
It seems he hit you all with a famous boss Rage spell. You are all compelled to attack him twice with your best hit. To win this stage and a Steem prize, you simply need to land the highest hit. The top 3 players who hit the hardest will win all the Steem....easy right?
PRIZES TO THE TOP THREE PLAYERS:
We have our:
- Split in general prize pool of 3 Steem which we built up along the way (2 Steem to winner of mini-game, if noone wins this it will go to @doughtaker for devising such an evil challenge)
- @mattclarke 20 Steem prize
- @canadianrenegade donation of SBI shares
- @o07 with his sweet as coin - instructions around delivery pending 1st prize determined and acceptance.
OTHER PRIZES
- If you won any Stage on first attack you will be sent a share of post Steem
- Any remaining excess Steem will goto @wizardzap for powerup. All players will be followed by @wizardzap and upvoted for anything you do on Steemit. This will stay in place as long as you come back and enrol in the next IBT (which might be some time as we have allot of code improvements to do).
ADDITIONAL GAME PLAY INFO FOR BOSS ROUND
- Your items work here - don't forget to grab an ibtluckdip item if you still need one:)
- Any type of attack can used
- A single Pickpocket is allowed
- You may attack the boss twice - only your hardest hit counts! remember your competing to hit harder then all other players, only the top 3 hitting players share in the boss prize pool.Remember your banked life points from the Stages will be added to your best hit for the final best hit score. Everything you have worked for has come down to this moment.
- Gobbo item is allowed (and carry between stages with this IBT) should he appear during your attack, normal rules apply. If he kills you though that's one attack wasted.
Quick Summary of attack commands per class are:
Archer attack:
- Quick attack, likely to hit: !onearrow
- Difficult attack, may not hit, but hits for allot: !manyarrows
Wizard attack:
- Quick attack, likely to hit: !mysticzap
- Difficult attack, may not hit, but hits for allot: !mysticblast
Warrior attack:
- Quick attack, likely to hit: !warriorstab
- Difficult attack, may not hit, but hits for allot: !warriorslash
If gobbo appears you get one shot to defeat him (must use Difficult attack), failure means loss of a life point. If you do win you may pick his pocket as well before immediately resuming your attack on the enemy... as gobbo has run away, the little Git! NOTE: The attack will only be activated if you type the command in on it's own in a reply.
OTHER COMMANDS
!ibtluckydip - I want to summon my permanent item please (must transfer steem)
!openpockets - Steal from the foe, could be good or bad, the item counts only for the stage you snagged it.
!special - Use the special attack.
I know it sounds like allot of work and even a bit complicated - But it's actually heaps of fun, try to remember this is a work in progress and you are supporting the work by playing and providing vital on the field testing :)
SPECIAL NOTE: As we really pushed the bot to a whole new level this IBT it has been struggling (please ignore comments about tips or if you won the Stage or not - I wish I had more time to program the bot for this IBT, but it is what it is, I did my best and I'm not a programmer).SOOOooo Attacks will be checked manually. While the bot may not add up correctly sometimes, the Random base attack damage you do is rock solid and handled by a bug free randomiser - So we we should be good to go, just wait for @doughtaker to confirm your scores though before celebrating and/or getting depressed :)

Thanks so much for playing; as the other post payout I will transfer Steem for those who won on first attacks etc. I hope you enjoyed - I think it has allot of potential if we can get the bugs out - get the tips and rules a bit clearer..Keen to get new player perspectives and I always do a feedback and ideas post - hopefully you visit and leave some comments, would be greatly appreciated.
A successful special attack would have awarded a roll of 15. Failure in the boss round counts as a roll of 0.

In the event of a tie for 1st place on the leaderboard at the end of the boss round, there will be a final tiebreaker post, in which the tied leaders will play Gobball to determine the winner of the silver coin provided by IBT sponsor @o07.

General notes:
Read across the row with your character and username to see how you're doing. The number 31 appearing under any stage column (except Stages 5-6) indicates a flawless victory and that you will receive a share of the STEEM pool for that stage. For Stage 5, any recorded number will get you a piece of the Stage 5 pool, and in Stage 6 you want to see the number 40 by your name.
B$ = your current banked life points, FV = number of flawless victories, LVL = character level (max 3).
MOD = the modifier/value provided by your !ibtluckydip item, if you bought one.
SP? = whether or not you've gained access to the !special command (Y = yes)
G = modifier provided by a Gobbo item (added after consulting with @lordnigel on his intentions with Gobbo)
BFT = boss round final total (Your best score from the 2 rolls, if you took them both. If you've only taken 1 roll, then that score shows.)

I hope the trip goes well...generally just split the prize if there are two or more equal players (IBT is about spreading the wealth)
...however, if you wanted a "gobb off!/tie breaker", those players who share a position must all agree - before closing time that a play off is wanted (else the prizes will be redistributed in the normal IBT way).
The tiebreaker is only to determine the winner of the silver coin, if necessary. As I understand it, you only have one silver coin to give away per tournament -- surely you're not going to saw it in half and send a half-coin to both top finishers (if that ends up being the case), are you?
STEEM prizes of course get distributed the usual IBT way, no matter how the final standings end up.
Well i agree on a tiebreaker with gobb off.. just say when it takes place and ill join inn..
Unfortunately, neither you nor @masterswatch will get that opportunity in this IBT, as @doctorcrypto passed you both. The tiebreaker is only to break a 1st-place tie.

I'll ask @lordnigel for a final ruling. Traditionally, Gobbo items have only been good for the stage in which they were acquired. Looking through the combat in this tournament, we have played through the stages keeping that tradition.
However, this post specifically said that Gobbo items carried over between stages, which directly contradicts a passage in the instructions post that said the Gobbo item was only good for stage in which it was acquired.
(Sorry for the wordy explanation, I hope you're not lost yet.)
For now, I'm not including the Gobbo item in the score calculation and your 1st boss roll is validated as follows:
15 (roll) + 12 (banked life points) + 1 (ibtluckydip item) + 2 (pickpocketed item) + 1 (Gobbo item) = 31
I'll adjust your score if necessary later on.
