Getting Acquainted with Bitbill.nl

in #steem9 years ago (edited)

itbill.nl is a Dutch website for selling bitcoins and several other cryptos, and then they deposit into a bank account. It is basically a bitcoin->SEPA exchange. The basic fees for it is 0,95 euro, plus 1% of the amount.

You can use any bank account in the receiving countries listed in the popup that appears in the list shown on the right. As you can see, it covers most of Europe, and the fee is the same.

I am using this as of from now on, because at present, I only have the wirex card working, but a large number of retailers in the Netherlands (much the same as Germany, unfortunately) do not accept credit cards. The cash out fee on the wirex card is 2,25 euro. Using Bitbill I will only pay 0,95 euro plus 1% of the transfer amount, and, obviously, plus the margin for blocktrades. It should save me about 2-3 euros per 10 euros worth of steem I want to cash out.

Getting off topic here... Hey, just letting you know I still check out Steemit every so often but I'm not often able to login. someguy123 has / had a torified version of steemit (http://usteempccoapgood.onion/login.html) but he's had trouble keeping up with api changes - or something along those lines. btw How's steemfest gearing up? Any other people turning up early?

Nobody yet but I expect some people to show up soon.

I use eSteem a lot, it only connects to witness servers and I should think the images can come over tor with a rooted device.

Is that cheaper than Kraken? I thought they had 0.25% fee on BTC->Euro and €0.09 for a SEPA transfer, but that is just off the top of my head.

No idea, but that is cheaper if it is correct.

bra ide bravo
