Bitcoin Holders - Cash in, Buy Gold or Better Still .. STEEM!

BTC Price Down 10% - The Beginning of the End?

Between the great Bitcoin Schism just prior to the latest reward halving, and allowing most of the mining, trading, and exchange to be controlled by citizens of a single country, we may be witnessing Bitcoin's undoing. The fact is, Bitcoin's use adoption was too slow and coupled with the increased costs of electricity needed to mine/create and verify the transactions of the grandpappie of crypto-currencies, a situation has been created whereby the fate of the coin has been pushed within the borders of a single nation, China - whose government is hostile to the currency's future .. at the moment anyway.

A few Chinese exchanges have been seriously spooked following a meeting with the People's Bank of China, a meeting during which it was noted that nearly 100% of BTC related transactions occur on Chinese exchanges. The reaction was that some of these exchanges have completely halted participant attempts to withdraw their BTC, and others, seeing rougher roads ahead, or the end of the road, have increased transaction fees, clearly attempting to increase their profits with the uncertain future looming.

The wonder of STEEM is that it gives 'itself' value, in that what we all are doing here, as long as the activity continues and increases, so will the value of STEEM. Of course we are unfortunately tied to BTC , in that it is the medium by which we move fiat currency in/out of the system - if ever STEEM's user adoption reaches that level by which the future of STEEM is taken for granted, we could bypass Bitcoin and move STEEM in/out of our economy, directly to and from fiat.

It is my feeling that there is a very high possibility of this occurring, even more so if Bitcoin exited the field. Our economy again, has a stability and growth potential that is unmatched, and there is a very 'real' purpose to having STEEM .. it is very straight-forward - this is not the case with Bitcoin. Bitcoin has been a vehicle of opportunism - for traders mostly, and for the creators of mining equipment - for the average citizen, it really has no function. STEEM on the other hand, has a great advantage over all of the other large cap crypto-currencies .. it is useful.

Anonymity in financial transactions, for those who need such a thing, may have use for one of the coins that offer this, but this is not the case for 6 Pack Dads and Soccer Moms, who are the people we want to come to us and leave their worthless and extremely dull Facebook accounts behind.

Those heavily invested in Bitcoin's future, should understand that it is currently allowed to exist in the shadow of a very large People's Republic Boot, which currently is raised for a stomping. This may not happen of course, they could fully embrace Bitcoin and use it to their national advantage ... mmm.. or, in the interest of being a good trading partner, to promote peace and bow to the pressures of the International Rich, who see crypto as a threat to their power ..

What the fuck is this shit ? Are you really telling people to swap bitcoin for steem ? You sound like a whore willing to do everything for a little bit of money.

I tend to think BTC/STEEM is at a good exchange rate right now. Bitcoin has gone way up and STEEM has done the opposite. Investing rule #1 is Buy low, sell high.

Additionally, a lot of positive things are happening with Steem. Whereas Bitcoin is experiencing major issues with transaction fees and confirmation times.

Damn man. You really think Bitcoin has gone high ? If one of the 3 Bitcoin ETFs gets approved, Bitcoin can easily double or even tripple. 11 march might be that date and you are telling people to sell their bitcoin for steem ???

Markets are forward-looking and if those are likely to get approved, then it's probably already priced in. Sure, it could go a lot higher, but so could STEEM.

For clarity, I'm not telling people to do anything. I'm just saying what I believe to be the case.

That's all I'm saying as well - cheers @shenanigator.
We are self-perpetuating, free from threat (national gov't intervention), and we have real purpose.

Haha. I would really like to see you buy steem. One things is what people say on Steemit because they hope to get rewarded by the Steem whales; another thing is what they actaully do. If you are so sure about what you wrote, buy 10.000 $ Steem and show us your account so we can follow you and your path to true wealth.

The only loser are you. You are a steem whore talking crap for 20 cents. Retard.

So retard. Bitcoin up 6 %. Steem looking like shit. Now you can see what a retard you are. Life must be a bitch looking ugly and being stupid.

Man, you know literaly nothing but are giving advice. The big money doesn't have access to Bitcoin. That's exactly why the bitcoinprice will explode if the ETF gets approved. Stop giving advice if you lack knowledge.

The ETF .. it is just more fodder for traders, nothing to do with average citizens. Lack knowledge? Ok whatever you say man. Commodifying something does not guarantee anything ..see: ENRON. :-)

P.S.

That's 38 cents .. BITCH! lol

Wow, you're a rude little shit, aren't you? :o) We understand, you took a pounding today but lashing out is unprofessional.

LOL. I sold my bitcoins and made 16000 euro profit. Does that sound like taking a pounding ? I just can't stand retarded advice. You have to be a complete retard to swap Bitcoin for Steem. No offence to Steem, but Bitcoin is Bitcoin. Steem will never be able to compete with Bitcoin just because it has a social medium. PLEASE !!!

An hour ago I adviced people to NOT BUY BITCOIN NOW but to wait a few days. That's how devastated I am about the BTC price correction.

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@diego24/do-not-buy-bitcoin-today-wait-at-least-1-day

By the way, the only rude one are you, piece of cancer shit. You are as dumb as the advice here.

If you made so much money shouldn't you be happier? ;) Def sound like a loser to me. lol .. anyway, if the Chinese gov't goes fully against it is dead - if people are ok betting against that, then nothing at all to worry about. :-)

The entire Internet is a "social medium" - and STEEM is, and will, fuel much more than a blogging system - if you haven't been paying attention.

P.S.
After reading your last comment above ..because I can no longer reply to you there ..given the level of irrational hostility I believe you to be a low quality person's alt ..so I won't be missing out on anything. :)
