how does steem upvote/post/reward system works?
steem is a decentralized cryptocurrency so thus it seems there is no one to regulate the forum. The only thing the community can do is downvote the articles that are literally copy/pasta, bot generated, and troll/clickbait.
Also, how does upvoting a post/have a post upvoted/commenting works? there seems to be no repercussion
for spamming upvote, so if one just upvotes everything in sight, wouldnt that be optimum way to maximize profit?
I am new to the forum/system and I am kind of skeptical of this whole thing. Is there anyone who can answer my questions?
You can up-vote as many as you want but depending on your voting power you get diminishing returns. Your voting power goes down with every vote and takes 24 hours to regenerate. So up-voting everything in sight will not maximize profits for you. You need also to do some reading regarding this and this should be a good guide.
