✳️ Next Phase for Humanity - Decentralization
The world is far from perfect, but I think most would agree that, especially in the last 100 years, society has made major strides in reducing racial, gender, sexual and religious prejudices. But one thing that hasn't changed, and one could argue has gotten worse, is wealth inequality. Not only amongst people in countries such as the United States, but just equalities between nations. Wealth and power is concentrated on too few people.
Part of the reason for this, I believe, is that powers are centralized and the system is gamed to benefit the rich. We have a banking system and other centralized business that overwhelmingly benefit the rich.
We're now approaching the point in our human evolution where we can break down one of the last barriers that has troubled human for a long time.
It's time for decentralization.
Bitcoin and blockchain technologies have proven that alternative currency and decentralization work, although nothing is perfect.
I'm not sure what the world will look like in the next 100 years, but I hope decentralization is a major theme. That is why I'm so excited being on platforms like Steemit, where you can post what you'd like, get paid and not be censored.

Decentralizing the financial system will definitely help. Not sure if wealth inequality will really end. Not as long as fiat currency reigns supreme. Hopefully cryptos can change that.

Wealth Inequality will always exist at some level, we are human. Decentralization might help keeping the world from a black and white of the haves and have nots though. A world where there are keepers doesn't sound very appealing to me.
I agree. Cryptos might even things up a bit. Just hope it’s able to get people away from fiat. That’s my biggest hope a decade or so from now.
Some coins will come under the control of the same people who currently control fiat. Some will remain free. We have reason to hope!
A clear example of centralization is my country Venezuela where wealth is only destined to a certain number of people and although the world improves in some things and progress as the work of women on the other hand is increasingly destroyed with corruption by giving you an example I hope you read my opinion :)
