The investment case for Steem from a Justin Sun perspective... Hint: Steem is ripe!

in #steem5 years ago

Steem is extremely ripe right now from an investing standpoint...

Think about steem right now from a Justin Sun point of view...

Yes there has been a ton of drama out there surrounding this new partnership with Tron, but stepping back a bit and thinking about the possibilities, one thing becomes very clear.

Steem is very ripe from an investing point of view.

Think about it for one second...

If you are Justin Sun and you are looking to maximize your returns, you see steem and you see a very interesting opportunity.

Here is a coin that is not listed on many exchanges, not compared with many of the coins ahead of it coinmarketcap.

It has several of the most popular apps in all of crypto as well as a whole host of other positives going for it.

And, it's currently only valued around $75 million...

Now, thinking like Justin again, I know I have many contacts for getting coins on exchanges, plus I own one in Poloniex.

An easy way to increase value in crypto is to get a coin on more exchanges.

And looking at steem being worth $75 million vs. $1.5 billion for Tron, what is going to be easier to create value for?!

Steem, easily!

Just by getting steem on a bunch of new exchanges he could get steem up 10x from current levels. Tron is already on most exchanges and is much harder to move up 10x from current levels.

I think Justin looks at steem and sees that it's going to be pretty easy to make his next $100 million there at the very least, without even any heavy lifting.

If some things go right, it could be much much more.

There are not many projects or opportunities out there with the ingredients that steem has going for it right now.

With Justin's connections we could be looking at a home-run from here without really breaking a sweat.

Anyways, here is the latest interview from @andrarchy that puts a lot of those fear based rumors to rest, enjoy:

This is the most common sense I've read in the past week. Justin Sun is an extremely intelligent person. For him to make this purchase he had to see immense potential.

Absolutely! Although I’m not a firm believer that degrees from prestigious schools equate to intelligence or business acumen I think Sun’s track record speaks for itself.

Yep I agree. Though his are impressive.

Unrelated, but good to know!

Steem is currently not supported by Coinbase. I would be happy, if Steem would be listed on Coinbase. I could buy Steem without buying Bitcoin (BTC) (or any other cryptocurrency) first. Similarly with selling. I could sell Steem without exchanging it to Bitcoin (BTC) (or any other cryptocurrency) first. Listing Steem on more exchanges would really help Steem.

Yep, I think many are in that same boat. There are very few fiat on/off ramps for steem. There are none that I know of in the US currently. I imagine he will work to get steem listed on many Asian exchanges rather quickly.

I was thinking these same thoughts when I heard the news @jcornel. Ned probably made off handsomely and Justin scooped up a down in the dumps crypto project that is awaiting blast off. I am optimistic and only can assume that someone who would spend the money he did to acquire Steemit that he would want to see it do well. Time will tell.

Ned was happy with millions, perhaps Sun is hoping to make billions!

Love this positive thoughts. I have high hope for these changes :)
