Steem comes in at #9 in China's latest Blockchain Rankings
Steem stays in the Top 10.
The CCID came out with their 10th blockchain rankings and steem came in at number 9 on the list.
The CCID stands for China's Center for Information and Industry Development.
They have been putting out monthly blockchain rankings for 10 months now.
Some interesting observations:
EOS topped the rankings yet again while Tron surprisingly came in at number 2.
It moved ahead of Ether for the first time ever.
Steem was previously ranked number 10, and now finds themselves at number 9.
At one time steem was ranked as the second best blockchain when these rankings first started.
Bitcoin moved up a couple spots to come in at number 13. Previous rankings saw them as low as number 18.

Steem inching back up?
The 9th spot marks a slight improvement from where steem was ranked a few months back when they came in at number 10.
However, before we get too excited, Steem was initially ranked as high as number 2 when these rankings first came out several months ago.
Also, steem still ranks at #45 on coinmarketcap.com in terms of project valuation while EOS, Ether, and Tron all rank within the top 10.
Hopefully the steem team can get things turned around here soon.

I think the best advancement that can move Steem ahead in the top 10 is a few more dapps that investors will want to get in on. Something will want to make people on the outside buy some Steem and power it up.

Steem ranked lower than bitshares... does not compute.
Yep. It also ranks behind it on coinmartetcap.com... sigh.

not sure what happened in the end, is steemit still blocked there? could grow more of it works there as a social network.

I am not really sure. I would be helpful if China become more open to crypto in general though.
