Yeah those are all good points. The difficulty of content discovery is definitely huge -- hopefully communities will help out with that. Right now I don't spend much time browsing Steemit just because it's so hard to find the content I'm looking for.

And honestly the 7 day payout limit is still one of my main concerns for the platform. From what I've heard, videos on YouTube make most of the money within the first day or so, but there's a decent amount of money to be made for people that have a ton of content that just gets a few upvotes here and there over a longer span of time. It also just encourages content that will grab your attention and not necessarily be high quality content with staying power.
