Hi all,
and welcome to Weekly Update No. 8 from the STEEMPUNK-NET team.
Again we did a lot for getting more informations about the game to the players, so a whole new section has been opened up on our website, including statistics and player lists and a whole lot of other things. So go and check it out!
The other important milestone was getting the Firefox addon released, this happened and to our surprise it passed the quality test of them super quick. So you now can also play this in the Firefox Browser, here is the link.

Development
Bugs, Bugs, Bugs and some cool new features. Thats basically what our week has been looking like. :
- Firefox plugin released!
- Implemented displaying stats on the website -> link

- Finished and published the housing concept

Open Beta
There is no closed beta anymore, everyone can join the STEEMPUNK-NET Discord Server and talk to @dehenne or me to get the needed informations.

Hi all,
und willkommen zu unserem achten wöchentlichen STEEMPUNK-NET Update.
Diese Woche haben wir wieder einiges getan um Informationen über das Spiel für die Spieler verfügbar zu machen, unsere Website enthält jetzt mehrere Sektionen in denen man unter anderem Spielerlisten oder Statistiken sehen kann.
Der andere wichtige Meilenstein war die Veröffentlichung des Firefox Addons, die wir ebenfalls diese Woche erledigt haben. Der Qualitätscheck verlief unfassbar schnell und das Addon war bereits Minuten später verfügbar, hier ist der Link.

Es gibt keine closed Beta mehr, die Server laufen gut und wir haben beschlossen ab dem heutigen Tag die Open Beta zu starten. Jeder ist eingeladen unseren STEEMPUNK-NET Discord Server aufzusuchen und mit @dehenne oder mir zu sprechen um die benötigten Informationen zu bekommen.

Mir gefällt besonders die Spielerliste auf der Webseite, so kann man easy sehen wer alles dabei is und sich Gegner rauspicken :)

Also @jedigeiss, ihr kommt mit den Update schneller raus als wie ich mal ein ordentliches Fazit schreiben kann über eure Game. Liegt bei mir schon die ganze Zeit auf der To-To Liste, aber immer dann wenn ich mir das annehme, kommt ein Update raus ;-) Ihr seit zu schnell und zu gut ;-) Freue mich schon auf das gesammte Game. Liebe Grüße an die ganze Truppe

I'm not sure why it is, but it seems when I attack I win and when others attack me, they win. Is there some preference given in the algorithm to the attacker's benefit? Or is the sniper shotgun used before the defender has a chance to react?
Hmm, normaly, the defender has more power. Defending is easier than attacking :-/

Installed the firefox extension (yay!), it's enabled but I can't acces the steempunk-net menu.
Do you at the steemit.com website?
Yes at the steemit site, I don't use anything else. Extension is enabled but the Steempunk menu doesn't appear.
Great work improving the game! Resteemed it for exposure.
I also love that website where you can view the stats! It makes it a lot easier to find targets to attack of equal level. I immediately attacked the top players, of course.. I need to get in the top 10 at least. Currently at #14!
