Facebook vs STEEM--The Battle for Social Media Supremacy

I did not know I was using the Internet all wrong until I found Steemit.

There's no other social media sites out there which come close to what STEEM has to offer to its community members.

If you disagree with this it's either you are lying to yourself or you are a retarded moron.

I mean, where else you can find a platform where you get rewarded with digital currencies simply by up-voting articles and posting what's on your mind?

Not to mention that these digital assets called STEEM and SBD can potentially make you a millionaire one of these days.

You think Facebook will also give you the same level of financial opportunities? You wish!

STEEM has set the bar so high which makes the competition to almost a nonexistent.

You don't get that on your traditional social media. You are just wasting your time there while making their founder(s) becomes unimaginably rich.

According to Forbes business magazine, the Facebook CEO's current net worth at the time of writing this circle jerk is a whooping $73.7 billion and it's counting.

More than half of the current Bitcoin Market Cap. Scary shit, right?

Mark Zuckerberg is now on the same league of global titans along with Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Jeff Bezos.

And did I forget to mention that he is only 33 year-old?

But how did he actually manage to amass those massive fortunes of a lifetime?

The answer is very simple--Facebook Ads.

Catering to all levels of businesses to place an ad on their platform for a very targeted brand exposure.

Work of genius! He is the true embodiment of @surpassinggoogle.

This is the reason why Facebook will require you to submit your DNA a-k-a government issued ID for name and date of birth verification, which is basically the lifeblood of their business strategy.

This is not an outright implementation though, however if someone does try to make an experiment and report your profile of being fake, then better start crossing your finger. Your next login will be greeted with identity verification and you're now temporarily locked out from accessing your ever dearest Facebook account.

How disappointing is that?

By making him ultra rich, what you actually get in return?

Upload photos, like, comment, share, send message or send money?

Well I can do all those things as well on other platforms for free without having to deal with annoying advertisements.

What Facebook failed to return to its user base is the ability for them to make money!

Facebook is always asking you what's on your mind every time you sign in.

They are constantly doing that not because Mark Zuckerberg is interested to read your timeline. lol

Instead, all they want is more interactions within their platform in order to lure potentials advertisers to put more money in their basket at the expense of your basic information.

I still remember the way how I did I come to discover the existence of Steemit when I was googling for a better social media alternatives.

From that moment on I never looked back and made a commitment of dedicating my spare time in making STEEM as my secondary or virtual home.

On Steemit, you'll get to have a direct conversation with your favorite political icon just like @berniesanders and/or @donaldtrump.

And you actually see their reply to your comment. If you are lucky enough, they can even reward you some money if they like your post.

This is only happening on STEEM.

Now if that is not a great thing for you I don't know what is.
