I DO agree on the necessity of promoting Stemm in real world. I DON'T agree with the value proposition "earn without investment". I would rather propose "earn with quality contributions".
Doing so, Steem could become a label for quality in the content related internet and not attract those going for a quick win and thus unbalancing demand-supply ratio. Such a niche should be big enough for Steem to grow.
Well they will figure out what it takes to earn here, but making it as simple and straight forward as possible is important for a successful marketing campaign.
If you put the words "earn with quality contributions" on a banner, the immediate thing that the mind of the guy reading it will go to is:
But when you serve them a message that is clear, easily understandable and straight forward you get better results.

You're completely right concerning my phrasing. I'm not a marketeer and "earn with quality distribution" would be a suggestion for the content of the message to be used, not for the phrase itself to be ussed.
Maybe this example makes it more concrete:
In an ad you could post a superb photo with the claim "Earn what you deserve!"
I think, the proposition "get money for nothing" may be easy-going but that shouldn't be the whole argument, since it attracts the "wrong" clientele.

I was just talking about not having to put in any $$$ to start earning.
Effort, contribution, quality content... etc. They will find out about it when they get here. Its just important to get them here first.
The other thing is that investors seeing that something is being done, that marketing efforts are being made they will find STEEM interesting again.
You're completely right concerning the marketing efforts. Bringing Steem into the stateofthedapps was already a great step. Now we've got something to show to others.
Sorry, if I misunderstood your message. Could happen others as well ... I think, it is important that claim=promise and product are a good fit.
