It truly is an amazing platform. I'm very new, this is my first week, but I can see the power of it's potential. I don't have a voice here yet, but It must be very fulfilling to be able to use yours to promote what you believe in. This whole week I have been using my voice in the real world to tell others about this amazing community. There is so much I need to learn about it but am enjoying the ride.

SOME Crab Bucket inhabitants may ask "But does that comment DESERVE $350 ?" and I say to them ABSOLUTELY 100% it does, but yif you disagree you are mre than welcome to buy some steempower and flag the commentif you so please! THAt is how steem works, it is not a government welfare program and it is not some charity where everyone gets paid the same, it is also not a centralized corpoertion where peope get paid some sort of paycheck, no it ios a stake based decentralized autonomous organization that uses Delegated Proofof Stake to create Tokens with Value....and anyone who posts something in front of @thejohalfiles who gets upvoted by him will end up GETTINg a LARGE reward BECAUSE Johal has PURCHASED over a million steem and powered it up! He has what will be very close to 10 million dollars worth of steempower in the very near future, and he had to Earn and PURCHASE all of that himself ... it is his stake! and he doesnt even post a Blog, and he rarely ever if at all upvotes even his own coemments! (Here you can see he upvoted others comments but he didnt upvote himself, he doesnt NEE to! Others upvote his comments FOR him!
Anyway the point I am trying to make to any noob beginner steemian is that just because you dont believe someone deserves $350 for a comment doesnt mean that steem is a broken system... people make this assumption that if everyone could just get a $300 upvote for their own comments, that the system would be broken somehow, but they FORGET that only a VERY small amount of PEOPLE can even AFFORD to have that much steempwer to GIVE those $300 upvotes, so just imagine @thejohalfiles more like the lottery... if you happen to be making a post when he is on steemit you may be lucky enough to get his upvote, and he just roams around the blockchain finding good content and upvoting it, like he did with me very early on in y steemit career almost a year ago!
Manual curators like Johal are the reason this place EVER amounted to anything close to having content like reddit.com We have Manual curators like Johal who make sure talented and hard working people get rewarded for their work, BUT he can also reward his friends or comments he finds helpful, either to pay them for what he sees fit OR in this case, I believe he did this JUST to make a big splash! JUST to get people EXCITED about the steem blockchain!
I feel like This is why I got excited about steemit, I saw that someone could make a $10 comment and that was enough for me to be in for life! Hah but Now that we are seeing $350 Upvotes thanks to Johal, we should start to see very high quality and useful comments that will start to adda LOT of value, because I see great comments all the time on youtube and reddit etc, but they never get paid, now w WILL see good commenters getting paid and it will open up a whole new career field, Professional Steemit Commenters will arise.
But anyway, i just wanted to clarify to ANYONE new OR old, about HOW steem's stake based voting system works, and how it is more like a Proofof Stake coin that rewards any user for simply holding it, and less of a Bloging [latform that pays peopel for good blogs... yes it does that nut it is first and foremost a Stake based Cryptocurrency that has a built in voting mexhcnaism so the HLDER of the Stake based coin (Steempower) gets to actua;ly CHOOSE who gets their reward... because Self Voting would be the equivalent of someone simply holding something like peercoin, or any otehr POS coin, where you get paid just to HOLD the coin over aperiod of time... but steem is no different EXCEPT you can choose to vote for someoen ELSE to get your reward... but that IS your reward if you hold the steempower.... so yes Johal COULD just vote his OWN posts or comments instead of gving them out to others, But he gives out his posts rewards to other peopel and he has not a single Blog post for himself actually! Its a strange unique situation where @thejohalfiles account is a perfect example of how someone can just Invest steempower, use theriu steemit account like a Reddit Account, not post a single blog but only comment on others blogs and upvote others, and you can end up making thousands and thousands of dollars a week in curation AND in comment post rewards JUST from comments he can make thousands a week!
AND he gets followers this way! thousands of followers! So now Johal has become like the patron of Steem, he keeps SO MANY of us filled with hope! All Johal had to do was upvote myself @mcsamm @ortigas100 @xpency and @tj4real and now mcsamm and tj4real are holding thousand sof steempower, making hundreds of dollars a dy sometems thusands, and they are LEADERS not only in their local steem communities but they are LEADERS in their countries! peopel are signng up to steem under them SO FAST nd its LL thanks to the INITIAL push from Johal!
@thejohalfiles REALLy did get us started and Team Ghana has REALLY been good PR for the whole steembl;ockchain! Johal has honestly raised the living standards and given hope to THOUSANDS of Africans at this point thans to the inital acts of upvoting team Ghana (And Xpency in nigeria0 those $1000 Upvotes he gave us all (During quadtratic rewards where we could get bigger rewwards at once) ANYAY it was ALL tanks to these initial big uipvotes from TheJohalFiles that this cascade effect started and now we are here, sitting on a lot of moneya nd potential and thousand sof new users from West Africa all doing MUChbetter than they would have done in their pre Steemit Day Jobs.......
So the whole developing world can use this as an examle... OH and the BEST part is, Johal got to make money off of helping US mke money!
SO he got to earn curation when he upvoted us! So it was not charity but BUSINESS, Business i MUST Thank Johal for! Thank you johal, all of team Ghana is also thanking you so much for those initail upvotes back last year! I hope we have all been able to ear you a lot of curation too!
Oh yes curation, THIS is another reason Johal's strategy has been so important, he has PROVEN that you can Help OTHERS WHILE making MILLIONS of dollars for yourself!
So more big investors can use Johals model, of just investing in steempower anf creationg groups and fllowings around yourself by upvoting lots of new talamnted uysers, this llows you to make money when the peopel you upvote make money.. curation is the key! This allow Johal to make himself money while helpng others to mke money! But without him we would never have gotten this far so thank you man!
