I do hope they will invest in the user interface of the site! For example, posting pictures as drop-in text lines is quite old fashioned, to be honest.
I think making the interface more user friendly would actually go a long way in convincing people this is not a scam or something, and that in turn would attract more high quality posters.
Yes, I agree with you there. So many people have been asking for even the simplest of changes to the Steemit interface, but Steemit, Inc. is not interested in that. Luckily, there are other development projects that have their own interfaces and should be able to offer a better social media product...something that's more modern/current.
