I 100% agree that learning from one's mistakes is essential. I know very little about the technical aspect of steem/steemit. I am more of a content and community guy. In my most recent post, I basically said that I was upset but now it is time to look to the future. A huge part of that future is to learn from mistakes made. I am glad there are people like you who understand the tech side and are making a suggestion for a better way to do things moving forward.
