Purchased some SteemPower today through Blocktrades
Looking at the daily chart of Steem, it is clear that it has dropped close to the bottom of the trading range. Can it break down lower and beyond the lower trend line? Yes, but I would say that the probability is on the low side. (My opinion)
I'm a longer term holder of Steem and believe the price in USD's will be higher in the coming years. (Along with other successful tokens)
A few weeks ago, Ned produced a video for Smart Media Tokens which I think will be widely accepted as the 'go-to' technology for monetizing content on the web. This alone should provide a nice boost to Steem as it is a major component, but as they say 'all good things to those who wait'.
I purchased the Steem through the Blocktrades site, when you go to your Steemit wallet and click the 'buy steem' button, the blocktrades site populates in a new tab. Make sure it is secure with https with the URL of blocktrades.us
Under 'Send', click on the pulldown menu and select the token that you will send in to trade for Steem/Steem dollar/SteemPower. I selected Ether in this example.
Under 'Receive', click on the pulldown menu and scroll down to the token of your choice, in my case is was Steem Power.
Type in your Steemit login name into 'Your receive address' and click 'Get Deposit Address'. In a few seconds, you will get a specific deposit address to send your token(s). (Highlight the address, copy and paste it into the send section of your wallet)
Blocktrades will execute the token transfer and deposit the SteemPower to your account in a few minutes. All done!

It's a good time to buy IMO, get it when no one wants it. Look back a year from now and I'm sure we will have a decent return on our investment.
