STEEM: Who Will Have the Last Laugh, We or the Naysayers?

A few days ago, I was in a WhatsApp chat group which consisted entirely of Steemians. And then a debate erupted regarding whether or not STEEM will ever hit the $1 mark again.
To my uttermost surprise, a sizeable group of Steemians vehemently argued that STEEM would never reach $1 until it goes to zero. A few even went on to argue that the New Steem was the nail in the coffin of STEEM. What!
Just then I realized how ignorant these set of Steemians were. They seem not to know that bear markets do not last forever, that crypto markets are generally cyclical in nature. You go up today and you're down tomorrow. And the cycle continues.
What we saw in the January of 2018, needles to say, took about three years to materialize. We are almost two years in the build up to another full blown bull market and I am sure that our own STEEM will not get missing in action.
The naysayers who will never buy STEEM even at this incredibly cheap prices always dream of the day STEEM will go to zero. Then, they will come forward and scream I told you....I told you that STEEM was going to zero...but you didn't listen.
The naysayers can continue to dream and badmouth STEEM but I am damn sure that they will never have the last laugh.
Instead, I foresee that we, the investors and protagonists of STEEM, will have the last laugh. We will be the ones to look back and yell, We told you. We told you that STEEM wasn't going to zero. Now it's $5.
At any rate, it'll be quite interesting to see how things will play out in the near future. I don't know for how long it will take nor do I know for how long we will wait but the naysayers will not have the last laugh.

Honestly, I don't think most people realize what is taking place and what this truly is a part of. There is so much going on that is really a piece of a much larger puzzle.
So yes, STEEM will get back to a dollar and then some.
But when that happens, those who you were chatting with will be very silent.
You have to hold SP to play Splinterlands.. So unless they think Splinterlands is going to $0 as well.. 🤔 While the news says it will be one of the biggest games in esports of 2020!
Splinterlands is one of the best games running on the blockchain. It surely has a great potential that will transcend the present. Sure, Steem is proud hosting it.

i am also a staunch believer in Steem, albeit a new one.
I see Steem could catch Bitcoin, because there will be maybe 5 or 6 billion users via the Matrix-8 Platform which will be built on Steem. So, HOFL :-)

I hope we all have the "last laugh" when all the naysayers are onboard Steem when it gains mass adoption :)

I feel "naysayer" ultimately, but I'm still here and holding 1-2 thousand USD invested in Steem Power.
