The Best Is Yet To Come!
The blockchain is 3 years old and what a journey it has been for everyone involved in this project from its inception. An idea takes roots like a plant and if nourished keeps growing to become a tree. This project has been a focal point in lives of many including myself.
A blockchain and cryptocurrency project has several layers to it. From the devs, marketers, community builders, volunteers and the users themselves.
These layers make up the entire structure that continues to drive us towards the larger goals; which is to be one of the top 10 blockchains and cryptocurrencies in the world, and we've already been at #3. We need to get back there once again.
There are over 70 DApps using the Steem blockchain as per Steemapps.com in various ways including Proof.ink which is an innovative way of using our blockchain. There maybe even more use cases in the future as many larger goals in its development process are completed.
Even for community builders like me who love bringing new users to this tech and spreading the word about it, there will be a lot more to do in the days to come. We also have to fix quite a few issues as well but as with anything in life it is a work in progress.
After 3 years there are a lot more people who are invested in the success of this platform and that's why I think the best is yet to come. We're going to make it together and now is not the time to pause and take a break!
We're going to celebrate when the whole world knows what this blockchain is capable of and begins to use it. Goodluck to us all.

Hopefully what be achieved by the Blockchain Steem at the age of the third year can continue to increase so that in the future there will be more and more people who can feel the benefits ..
@firepower, I've travelled one and half years with the Steem Ecosystem and definitely I've saw Innovations, Developments, Use cases, Collaborations, Integrations and most importantly Steem Blockchain really expanded. Waiting for the future of Blockchain.

It will be interesting to revisit this post and see how far we've come in the next 3 years. Wonder if it will be a linear or parabolic increase.
My bet is parabolic which is really exciting to think about!
