Hey there Steemians! You guys must have heard about Time Travel which simply means going back or forward in Time. It is one of the interesting topics of Science. I am going to tell you everything about time travel that can help you wrap around this topic around your head.

Most Of the people think that Time travelling is not a true concept and it is based on science-fiction only. But let me tell you that in the world of Science the sci-fi exists but some things are proved by experiments which is known as "Scientifically-Proved" while some can't be explained on the basis of experiment but can be explained theoretically using mathematics which we call "Theretically-Proved".

Where time travelling isn't proved practically but is proved theoretically using mathematics. Albert Einstien's and some other scientist's theories explain time travel and support that time travel is possible. Because of that it has become a rather fascinating topic.

But time travel has been proved experimentally but on a very small scale. Time travel was done on an experiment once but for some nano-seconds that isn't much duration but can prove that time travel is possible.

Experiment :

In October 1971 an experiment was conducted namely "HAFFLE-KEATING" EXPERIMENT. Astronomer Richard Keating took 4 atomic clocks and he went on a flight and travelled around the earth 2 times. After completing his journey, when he went back to USA's Observatory he matched the time of the two clocks and interestingly the time on the observatory's clock was some nano-seconds ahead of the time of his clocks. A question rises that maybe the clock was faulty or something but there is something to note about that those weren't general clocks but they were "Atomic Clocks". In the existing era there is no such clock that can be accurate than atomic clocks they can record a billionth of a second.

So what does this experiment prove? that the clock on the Earth was faster?

NO, the answer is that the clock on the plane was slower and this proves that whenever something is going at a tremendous speed time starts to get slow for it. And this is the only experiment in the history that proves time-travelling.

Through this we can travel into the future but for only milli-seconds and that wouldn't be interesting but for travelling 5 years into the future we will have to travel very very fast. There are theories and formulas that says if u travel at the speed of light or nearly the speed of light u can travel into the future but that's all about the time travelling in future what about time travelling into the PAST .

Well that's another topic we will discuss that later i am done writing for now.

Peace Out ✌ hope so u like my post! :D
