Finally Hit the Big 100k!!!

After just over three years of blogging, investing and committing to this blockchain (and I'm talking about being religiously consistent by showing up everyday like this was an actual job), I've made it to my ultimate goal. Or, to be more realistic, my sole aim from when I started out on here. Wow, that was intense ride that was! But anyways, I've made it here and can now take my foot of the accelerator a tad. Just a tad, mind...

I've just realized my thumbnail resembles the word "look" with a small "l". Lol, whatever. So the big question is... Now what? Maybe I'll take a break from blogging. Temporarily or maybe even permanently. Or better still... Power it all down and buy myself something fancy. Hang on a minute, that's the devil inside me trying to force it's way out. Let me bust him hard in the face to knock his horned ass back to sleep indefinitely again. Coz the way I feel right now? Fuck it, let's aim for a cool million.

Will I get there? Probably not. But that's not the point. I remember well when we had our price increase last year and STEEM was measured in dollars, not cents like today. I told my missus that the opportunity to get to 100k STEEM was long gone. Let's just bask in the payouts and be satisfied with what we have. Then the downturn came. Everyone was pissed and leaving left right and centre. I know (and you too, most likely) a few "prominent" names we had, that departed from the blockchain because they weren't getting the payouts they thought they deserved or just generally couldn't arsed anymore. You could say, a few might have been perceived as "ambassadors" of the blockchain at the time. To them, I say, "You bitch ass sellout motherfuckers, you."

The real ambassadors of this blockchain (not saying I'm one) are usually the people who don't feel the need to self-proclaim their greatness to all, but simply "act" and "do". And these individuals are the ones I've being using as my constant example to keep on pushing up that mountain to where I am today. I'm not naming names (that would be plain pretentious of me), but they know who they are. I salute them all and wanna say that the level of respect I have for them, knows no bounds. Many thanks for the inspiration you provided throughout my STEEM career. Because lets be real. Sometimes you just can't be bothered to write a blog or record a vlog. These stand-out individuals are the fuel you require to carry on and stay motivated.

But hey, this post ain't supposed to be a rant. No, it's gotta uplift and be positive, right? So as I was saying. What next? Well, the answer is simple. This blockchain is nothing like the one I first signed up to. It's fast turning into a thriving eco-system with huge potential behind it. Many still insist on shitting on it's parade, but I couldn't give two fucks really. Not even one. If I listened to that bullshit, I'd be long gone by now. No, I basically adopted the same mindset as I did from day one. I'm also quite well invested in a number of now projects too and plan to expand upon this aspect of my STEEM journey in the near future. As well as collecting more of that precious goddamn STEEM along the way for as long as I can.

So no way! As far as I'm concerned, this party's just getting started. And on a side note, the people on here who follow suit and are also trying to build their accounts on a daily basis, have my utmost respect too. After all, the more people who approach their accounts in a similar manner to mine, the better for the decentralization (yes, "that" word again) and furtherment of this blockchain and, in turn, all of us who live on here. I ain't going nowhere. This STEEM train is way too much fun to be getting off now!
