There seems to be.
It's rilly, rilly SLOW.
Takes forever to load.
On Steemit it takes minutes to do what normally happens almost instantly.
Like redeem my rewards.
Sometimes it doesn't work at all unless I 'refresh' several times.
Is it just Steemit I wondered?

SteemSupply and SteemNow are acting wonky too.

and it didnt' load all of the data.

I've got two different computers...
both acting the same way.
No other sites or applications seem to be affected.

Felt like and attack to me, don't know if that's possible!? It has been inconsistent for me, I am on Fibre Optic so I get 25+ MB/S upload and one moment I could connect and the next it would freeze.
If someone wanted to mess with the network would it not be possible to DDOS?
If not DDOS what about net neutrality?

We've had a DDOS in the past. At that time it only affected Steemit. Busy and the other portals were unaffected. This was different.
Do you think 13 of top 100 witnesses would make that much of a difference?

cause that was my biggest hang up, d.tube let me in right away with posting key buy wouldn’t load anything past my little profile image top right.

It was surprisingly easy to edit but damb is d.tube a slow sob during that whole thing today.
SteemConnect is an app. I don't think anyone 'runs' it...it's automagic. I dunno who developed it.

The Steemitstage.com ( another front end which should be fast and all that) is completely off, it is 2 days late. I though my connection is creating this because of the bad weather, but it seems to be a universal problem.

Yes, yesterday the same thing happened to me even with the same pages that you point out (SteemSupply and SteemNow), even with another page that I use, which is www.steemworld.org. Today still presented a certain slowness but nothing comparable with the night of yesterday. Right now, everything seems to be normal.

Yea same, it takes ages to post or upvote anything. I thought it was me only as I haven't gone anywhere else than steemit today...

Thanks for mentioning this, blood pressure was rising thinking it was my laptop crapping out. Maybe the system is slow because there are so many new people signing up.....someone mentioned it is back to taking days and days to get a confirmation e-mail. Or???? who knows...

They have that new steemitstage.com, which was supposed to be the test crap out here site, so nooo, do they use it, nooo, steemit goes kaput...steemitstage flies along with a starman steering it along to mars. go figure. They build a test site and trash the main site instead of the test site.
