Bitcoin spiked up today from 707$ to 734$ ,all altcoins are down. Steem starts to have a slightly upward trend, but it's to early to say.... lets see whats happen the next days.... I am still waiting for the right signal to buy :) What is strange today, the total virtual supply of Steem is lower than yesterdays, normally its every day about 1 mio. more.....someone can explain?

Of course I sold BTC to buy STEEM and now BTC spiked. :)
I expect steem to lose its value till new upcomming hardfork. In the day of hardfork a lot of things can happen, price can go in both directions very quickly.
I imagine after the hardfork will go up, inflation will be reduced so supply gets less....
I think a lot will depend on how many people will like to power down with this new accelerated speed. In theory amount of Steem which will hit market after PowerDown can increase 8 times.
True, but the most hit would be from the whales, and as ned,dan and smooth and maybe others has promised not to power down.....
question is... for how long :)

elyaque I track the virtual steem everyday on steemd.com and I agree very strange why virtural steem would decline . But to tell the truth I don't know what virtual steem is or where the number comes from .
I'm still watching the market.
