How to Maximize Your "minnow" Votes

This is taken from my observations within the two-weeks of steeming. I cannot think of a better title than, maximize your minnow votes.

At the onset of the steem journey (day #1), every minnow (the term used to refer to newbies) is delegated 15 Steem Power or 15SP. As you gain more author and curator rewards, the delegated SP is returned. In my experience, it is quite difficult to break out of this 15SP as a minnow. However, you have voting power that could help in the process of breaking out of 15SP.

The question is how do you maximize the voting returns?

This is how I'm doing it. First, go to https://steembottracker.com. And track a high value bot. In this example (and in the screenshot below), I am tracking @jerrybanfield, a high value bot (any other bot will do). Click on "Details".

A smaller screen appears with the details of users bidding for the bot voting service. Most bidders use the minimum bid, select the higher (or highest bidder). In the example below I am looking the bid of @olayar. Click on the memo link. Check the votes on his blog post. Vote if applicable.

By applicable I mean, a huge vote from a voting bot is about to come in. Maximize curator rewards by leveraging this information. As shown below, I voted on his blog post. From above screenshot, @olayar bid 6.0SBD, while the rest of the bidders put in 1.00SBD. This is what I mean by applicable.

By the time the bot has voted, check https://steemstats.com and look for the feed that indicates the particular blog post voted. You will then see the possible curator reward shared with you after the post matures (after about 7 days). As you can see from the statistics, I will be having a 0.001SP as curator reward.

I did it with other blog posts by following the crumbs from the voting bots. And it seems to be working. My vote isn't much as my steem power is 15.0SP just like the rest of the minnows.

Try it out and see if this helps your gathering Steem Power faster. It may or may not give you the desired results, but this is how I have been doing it so far. Share your experience in the comments below.
