I agree, If you believe steemit/steem has value than this is the time to buy. It might not be the bottom but if you continue to buy regularly on your way down, than you will accumulate a nice amount of steem before the price goes up.

You fools if you believe that everything will be fine. The developers of Steemit are not competent, with such pace updates of the road map - this is the straight path to the abyss..

Thanks for your opinion but please can you go into more detail why you think the developers are incompetent as I don't see evidence of that. Good things take time and I don't see the major issues here you can see on other currencies.

did you get that or do you need help,

All i see is talk that steemit is great, the perspectives, opportunities. In reality everything is going backwards and the price is dropping without a reason to change.
Like everyone on top of a financial pyramid, they talk beautiful, promise a lot, talking about perspectives, but in reality don't do what they have said.
And in the end will say it's our own fault steemit has failed.
Maybe I haven't spoken correctly when I said the developers aren't competent, maybe what is going on is their goal, if so they are very competent, but pitiful.

A very loose translation

My 2 cents there won't be a reverse unless the developers really step up their game, what we have really spoken on here and what is happening is next to impossible to be aligned. How are people supposed to develop those 10-15 killer apps and websites, based on the steemit blockchain, without any support or care, segregated communities, decentralized people, how are we supposed to work together and make something good come out of it, when all we do is chase inflation and hope we are one of those "powerful" people.

The price has dropped from 4.50(high) to 0.08 I suppose, so there could be a trend to get back there, but it won't happen unless all the problems are fixed and all the promises fulfilled. So therefore there are around 442 promises and problems still not on sight.

There would be a way if people start bringing in value rather than taking away and wanting more, for me personally this could be a nice place, but not in it's current form. We have a long way to go and a lot of competition in the races. What we think and want should be aligned with what is good and moral and bring that into reality. That way we can sustainably grow and produce that change.

@chezar Thank you for your comment and @j3dy thank you for the translation.

I see it differently since the steemit development team is working and actually released already various API's (Python and JS to my knowledge) and updated libraries for developers to use. So in my opinion this is going well and is the right thing to do if you want to invite other developers to implement steem blockchain related apps.

The price development is indeed bad but I think it has not much to do with the capabileties of the blockchain but more on speculation.

If you look through various posts that there are people (like myself) who keep putting money into Steem. You have always people who just like to take and have more but that will never change I think. Until you get payed out the rewards from your posts and don't have to pay a cent to blog than I don't think value is taken away from this platform.

It might sound like it but I want to ensure you and everyone who is interested that I am not a fan boy or however you call it. If I see something that is not right or a scam you can be ensured that I am the first who will leave but until than I strongly believe in this blockchain.

Well said...

Trolls will be Trolls...

nom, nom, nom...

Many people do believe I have seen it and wish it was better than it is right now.

So we are on the same page I suppose. Many have been making revenues. The problem is the unstability and the lack of overall direction at least in my eyes.

If a normal market trend is to be expected sure the price will skyrocket :D

All I'm saying is that it won't be as easy and another hype run won't come easy.

That comment deserves a proper reward, hint hint...

Followed!

Может я не верно выразился что разработчики не компетентны, может то что сейчас происходит со Steemit - это и есть их цель? Тогда они конечно компетентны - но жулики.

This is the perfect time to buy Steem!"

nom, nom, nom...

I bought Steem at $1, it's practically a steal.
The Steem coin also is not the same as other altcoins. It has different rules. Also Steem has like 1000 active posters, and 3000-5000 voters each day. Lets focus on getting those numbers up before expecting more results. If you believe in Steem then put your money into it. If you don't then take it elsewhere.

I just started at the end of January. So far I enjoying the Steemit platform. Learning all the do's and don'ts. I strongly believe in MY "thirds rule strategy" which now can be googled. Buy in thirds. Sell in thirds. Don't be TOO greedy.

Steem on,
Frank

And don't invest anything you aren't prepared to lose. Great thing with Steemit is you don't need to invest much if anything. Just a little time and effort. Get up to 50 Steem power and then you'll be at 1000 in no time! I haven't even put $50Canadian into Steemit.
