I am seeking information about Ethereum and what appears to be a lack of transparency, does anyone know anything?

UPDATE: Looks like Poloniex is likely behind the scams. There is definitely some serious bullshit going on if you have been paying attention. I assumed it could be the ETH team, but Poloniex adding ETH CLASSIC have revealed their motive behind the pump at the fork. They made a fortune appear out of thin air, called all the shorts, and obviously they knew they were going to add ETC. Anyway, Dev teams deserve scrutiny and so do exchanges. My personal apologies to the people of ETH, but Poloniex has been making ETH look bad and something was obviously amiss. I have a great deal more respect for Vitalik and the team behind ETH, and I have none left for Poloniex at all. At this point I just want to get off that exchange and never go back. Best of luck to ETH vs ETC, ETC is pure scam.

He's right it's not easy to see that shit without digging and even then its a bunch of damn blog post from months ago. Wake up guys no average investor is going to chase a chain to see where the project money is going to and they shouldn't have to; the burden of proof is on the devs to PROVE where the funds are going and make easily accessible and distinguishable for investors to see. Then he catches heat for asking a question about the transparency(something that no community should EVER have problem with answering respectfully) of the source that he based his project off of(a nod at the potential by the way folks) and these are the answers he gets: angry FUD accusations with sources links old as shit and rude ass comments...wow nice community lol I'll make sure to invest my Bitcoin in other projects besides ETH.

I haven't touched ETH or DAO for months and will not touch for a long long time!

lol a smear campaign people are calling this...really?? WoW reminds me of the old dark days when nobody could ask serious questions about DARK/DASH without being attacked by a bunch of "cult like" followers.

He's only asking questions we should have been smart enough to ask in the first place, questions that should have straightforward answers that should be easy to find for any individual thinking about investing in the latest "Hype train"

The fact that you guys attack him as if he's some sort of fudder bashing your "cult leaders" she be a good indication for people... If you really had faith in your project you'd welcome the questions. instead of feeling the need to protect it from "blasphemy"

that type of behavior kept me far away from DARK and will continue to keep me away from ETH.

I have traded hundreds of thousands of times, researched all the major cryptos, there is a lack of transparency here, and you have to be a noob or a liar to not see it. The rich and famous get a free pass. Everyone else does not -- I was a huge fan until "The DAO," then after the "Attacker" and the fork, then they pumped it on the fork, yes, I have lost faith. I believe Vitalik said "Now we return to transparency" after they had sold a lot of the foundation ETH off. That was later deleted though, so I guess I better screenshot everything if I want to know what is going on with ETH. I do own a HUGE amount of REP though, I am not here to FUD, I would just like for the project to last at least until Augur is out, and play fair. They should also be able to provide basic information like every other project out there is required to. As for learning to read a blockchain, why don't you do it and report here? It isn't my job to trace down information they are intentionally hiding. It is their job to prove they are not centralized, and they have failed so far.

Are you really one of the founders of EXPANSE? If so you just burned a whole lot of credibility with this post. Cheap, smear campaigns against Ethereum...??? Really....

I actually got an account so I could respond to the OP, and you beat me to it.

I agree! Huge loss of credibility for Expanse. This is smearing, bordering on libel.

Frankly i dont think that info is public. The devs are not really accessible. No idea how the platform will grow.

Devs are annoyingly accessible. Get a Github account. They won't stop talking. What you are saying is simply not true.

Is this all part of some "Lie about Ethereum Day" or something?

What the heck!!!!??? You've changed the origonal post considerably. What happened to your "Shady Bunch" picture, and all your insinuations that the Ethereum team were dishonest. You've changed it to something altogether different. Talk about shady. Totally lost all faith in EXPANSE if this is how you roll the dice...

I have learned not to ask questions about the big scams, or I will get personally attacked by anons. Not that hard to do your own research as this isn't rocket science, and sorry if asking questions and being confused about ETH/ETC sounds shady to you, it actually is confusing as this has never happened before. Anyway, If you don't think there is a bunch of BS going on with the chain split, you are making a profit from it or really not thinking about how bad of a precedent this sets.

This should answer a lot of your questions or at least lead you to the answers. It took me a google search and 2 minutes to turn up this information. Sure you are not just Fudding?

Learn to read a blockchain, and stop lying about them. Your ignorance is not the same as their "shady" intent.

It is comically easy to track what both Gavin and Vitalik's ETH interests are, because THEY INVENTED THE FUCKING CURRENCY! Start with the first 5 wallets and track from there.

Just because you are too ignorant/stupid to follow their VERY OPEN transactions on a VERY PUBLIC blockchain, doesn't make THEM "shady".

This whole article borders on defamation/libel.

how hard it is to have the information in a professional write up so people thinking of investing can have the information they need without having to try to decipher the blockchain and hunt for info on github or wherever... It's called an ANN (announcement page) you know where the average investor would go for info and announcements about the project. like any project that respects and takes their investors seriously

Seriously right not hard at all! Hell they can even do it on #steemit and get paid for the thread!

From one on the Founders of EXPANSE no less. It's shameful, childish behaviour that reeks of desperation. I hold some EXPANSE but this is enough to put me off the project.
