Banking your Steem on Decentralized Artisanal food

There is an artisanal economy resurfacing and it is about time we all bank our Steem Dollars on it. Many of us are eschewing mass production in an exchange for a more focused, well curated & purposeful return to the craft of small, traditional and independent producers. After years of consuming automated food , we are once again craving that emotional connection to the things we buy. From clothes, wine to craft beer to cheese and range of other foods , people want to hear the story behind the product and approve of it. I want to know that the products are good for me, my loved ones and our Earth. Besides it’s sensual and sexier.

Where did it come from? Who got their hands dirty in the process? Tell me the story, and tell it well in the blockchain.

I believe Steemit will accelerate this shift providing high-quality deserving products with integrity to offer full disclosure and the upshot they deserve. My hope is to not only capitalize on this movement but take it a step further towards Asset or inventory based Steem lending.

Steem loans for Decentralized Artisanal food producers

...to help keep financing for cheese, craft beer and coffee makers. it’s essential that farmers/Producers have access to credit lines. It helps producers and shows there are more ways than one to keep doing business. And besides you will have more value for every penny of steem you invest ahead in time. We should be able to power-down every week towards a financial infrastructure tailored towards this kind of projects.

I would like to see cheese and Beer walk out of the steemit trending page and have a face-to-face connection with the story behind them. Well-made cheese and Beer are a labor of love. They have a story. It is made from artisans who pass on their tradition and dedication to the next generations.

I am not affiliated with http://www.artisanalcheese.com/ or @biervibes

All I want to see is a movement take of where We are able to help Farmers and producers who need constant financing with our steem and bring about quality cheese to our tables.

I want to partner from the other side of the world with the likes of @biervibes and other producers to experiment on the First Steem Cheese and the First Steem Craft Beer

I upvoted because food. But I have some questions:

Why 100+ votes but virtually no commentary?
Why is @crazymumuszya posting for someone else?
Why does this post have nothing to do with the other posts by @samether?
Why mention a cheese distributor that doesn't actually produce cheese (and failed and was sold to another cheese distributor last year?
Why no interest from @ned even though he has food industry experience?

Thanks for piquing my curiosity. I know there is a way to combine the steem blockchain (my new favorite thing) with the specialty food industry ( my career and hobby all in one).

@jsteck Thanks for the vote and your comments,
I will try to answer some of your questions,
I cannot answer for the first why , but I also expected discussion but was none ((
People post on behalf of other people for so many reasons. In my case because I wanted some exposure. You can see the difference this system makes. Just go through my posts , there are more interesting articles less than a dollar. So people with more followers will get your story out.

The article is not about a failed or successful distributor. it is about another perspective steem can do. Read the links I have sent. In Italy they are financing "cheese makers" and keep them afloat by providing constant finance. I thought this could happen here in steemit if there was a mechanism to just do that. I would happily power down to a craft beer or artisan cheese maker and bank on it; and I believe this will happen soon.

Cant I post about food @jsteck ? And tell me the reason why this has nothing to do with the rest?

I post about what steem can do, some photos of mine and some jokes.
I hope you will find some of them more interesting, I will post about food right here on my blog soon.

Thanks again, you have my up-vote.

Thanks for the reply! And Of Course you can post about food. It was the 3rd party post + the lack of comments + the seemingly different subject matter that had me confused. And I guess I am still confused about the use of third party posters but that's probably the subject of a post from one of us in the future!

Hi! This post has a Flesch-Kincaid grade level of 9.0 and reading ease of 65%. This puts the writing level on par with Leo Tolstoy and David Foster Wallace.

hopefully steemit could tie the local economy around the world

Indeed it would & this is just the early sign of the things that will come around. Steem being the first mainstream concurrency would transform how we create and run businesses.

The bright day has come.

Love the concept of a global currency facilitating the development of localised produce that bypasses the mass commercialisation of products like bland beer and cheese that makes you go, "meh!!". Thanks @crazymymzysa

Mmmmm, moldy cheese and beir....
