Most people who want to get into blogging or vlogging (referred to herein as blogging) wants to know how they earn money doing it. There are multiple ways to earn money as a blogger but not many people are able to earn a living doing it.

Steem / Steemit

There's a difference between Steemit, the website, and Steem blockchain that pays you. However, for the sake of simplicity, I'm not going to get into the differences in this article.

If you're finding this post through a friend, Facebook, Google or anywhere else outside of the Steem ecosystem, do yourself a favor and head over to Steemit.com to make an account.

On Steemit, you get paid as a blogger based on the upvotes you get on each post. If you're already blogging, you might as well post on Steem too because, if you don't, you're leaving free money on the table.

Google Adsense

Although you can't earn anything from Google Adsense when posting on Steemit, you can if you own the website that you're posting on. When you partner with Google Adsense, you'll be allowing Google to place ads on your website targeting your readers. When your readers click on the ads, you get paid a percentage of the ad revenue.

Affiliate Marketing

Most internet companies who sell either physical or digital products offer an affiliate program. For some companies, anybody can get approved to be an affiliate but for others, it's more difficult to get approved.

Find some companies that fit well into your niche and sign up to be an affiliate. Every time someone clicks on your affiliate link and makes a purchase, you'll earn a commission (which is usually a percentage of the sale.)

If you can find companies that offer services where customers pay on a monthly basis, it's likely that you can start earning monthly recurring payments as an affiliate. Recurring income will go a long way toward turning your blog into a career.

The most popular affiliate program is Amazon Affiliates. It's very easy to get approved, you can promote millions of different products, and they offer generous click terms. With Amazon, you'll earn a commission if a person makes any purchase within 24 hours of clicking on your link. Furthermore, if they add any item to their shopping cart in that 24 hours and proceed to purchase that item within 90 days, you'll earn a commission for that sale.

Influencer Marketing

You probably won't have any opportunities for influencer marketing until you have a large following. However, once you have a ton of readers or viewers, there's a good chance that you'll start to get offers from various companies to promote their products. Companies will pay you a lot of money if you have a large, engaged following.

Patreon

One of the fastest growing ways for creators to get earn money is through Patreon. With Patreon, you're asking your followers to support you with a (usually) small amount of money each month or for each video upload. Many YouTubers are using Patreon as the primary way to support themselves in their endeavours.

What good information, I really liked everything you give us about this topic, since it is very important to know, I hope you continue sharing things like that, to continue informing me

Once way to get paid which you've left out is Medium's Partner Program. One of our team's content writers (@capnsostre) is experimenting with it this month and will release a report on the earnings made in comparison to those made on Steem. It works similarly where upvotes (claps on Medium) are given a financial value. Supposedly, there's some good money to be made on the platform!

Me have to

I really like affiliate marketing, because you don't need to own any products of your own or anything like that. You just recommend other products to people and earn money! Of course, it's not that easy to do. Having your own website is great, but it does take quite some time before you can see any money coming in.

a very great post .. thank you
