Improving the Promotion Tab
The idea of Promoted content is to get more exposure to your posts and thus more votes. The thing is I don’t see it working as it should because people need to head over to the "promotion tab" to look at those posts and let’s be honest: who deliberately looks for paid articles?
How to improve it?
A possible solution would be to mix promoted posts at the trending page... It would end up looking something like this:
Steemit could put a symbol next to the title letting people know is a promoted post, just like with 100% power-up posts.
Very good idea... If promoted post worked, many of us will use it, i don't mind paying 10 steem for promote a post if i am getting 30 in return... The thing is i see so many promoted post that makes so little payout and so high promoting cost, that it really discourage me from doing it...
Consequently, this will lead to a situation where we should have special colors for promoted text (based paid amount of money)
I think that's a great idea. Right now promoting posts is almost useless.
Also another idea could be giving some kind of guarantee, if payout does not reach at least the cost of promotion, just give the steems back to the author... don't know if that is possible, but could work...
Would be nice but I dont think it is technically possible, at least who it is laid out now with the @null account.
I like the idea. I have actually wondered why anyone would go to that tab myself.

This is nice idea, every big social media portal have it. Do you think sorting these kind of posts should be special as well?

If few visit that tab (myself) than it's pretty pointless, this is def a good idea which should be implemented..
