RE: How should Steemit Inc decentralize their stake?

in #steem7 years ago (edited)

couldn't agree with you more! now i have known about steemit for some time now but i wasn't a user, i only joined this week and had to spend a few hours getting my head around everything. the average user won't be willing to do that and until steemit is as easy to use as facebook then i don't think we would see mass adoption.

Steemit will never be as easy as Facebook. It's more challenging technically running a blockchain social network. On the other hand, Facebook has the right to censor your content, riddle you with ads and not pay you a single dime for your content. So, it's your choice...

with time and developers, everything gets easier, think how hard it was to use the internet back in the 90's, nowhere near as easy as it is now so i do think steemit will one day be as easy to use as facebook but we're along way off from that.

I love steemit that's why i'm willing to learn as much as i can about it. And clearly everyone here loves it too.

All good points. I live in fear that the demands of this blockchain is made to support is so high that it would fall on its face. It just keeps going somehow.
