Steem is performing pretty good today, it went up by 6.74% and even increased 8.39% compared to BTC. This shows that the community still believes in the Steem blockchain which is a great sign, especially after the last incidents with Steemit & Justin Sun.
The Steem blockchain actually went down yesterday, I couldn't use my Steem DApps and Steemit was also not accessible. The problem seems to be solved by now.
The Steem blockchain is currently being attacked by a central authority in order to take control of the witnesses. If you are not managing your witness votes, please consider setting @berniesanders as your witness voting proxy by clicking here to help restore the decentralization of Steem.

Not with me. I can not use dpoll.xyz, Steempeak or partiko and steem connect don't work either. Perhaps you use a different server?
I doubt the value of Steem is influenced the war started here. If steem goes up so do the other crypto currencies. It has to do with bitcoin.
