RE: I Contacted @YallaPapi

Thank you for commenting and yeah all of us share your frustration on some level. Everyone ends up with some expectation in their head of what their post should make. If I think a post should get $10 and it gets $3 then I'm upset but someone else Might be thinking they just want $1 on each post and they would be happy.

You have to understand that there are different levels of investment into this platform. For instance there are people who invested $1000 very early on in 2016 and ended up with hundreds of thousands of dollars and then there are people who have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars and they are upside down on their investment because the price dropped. Then there are content creators who have invested their time so everyone has different skin in the game.

For those who have powered up a lot of money into this platform they can end up having a pressing need to make a gain on their investment and our posts may or may not peak their interest or fall in line with them trying to get a return on their investment.

I hate to say it but as amazing as the STEEM blockchain is the ability to earn money from content creation is more of the bait to drive demand to STEEM so people will buy it.

There aren't very many crypto currencies that actually drive real demand to their coin. STEEM, Siacoin, BitShares to name a few. I would say SmartCash does as well with SmartRewards and SmartNodes. Dash does with the master node system.

The bait can be juicy for some but for others it won't work out and they could end up spending a bunch of time on posts and not make it very far unfortunately just like any economy. A person can get stuck in a dead end job or a career path they didn't intend on.

I do wish you luck and will be sending some upvotes your way.

Thank you for the detailed description about how Steemit works, I do understand it!
Also thank you for your support! I really appreciate it!
I will mention you (and many other people) in a "Special Thanks" section, when I reach my goal.
I am currently very close to it, but it's mainly depending on the price of Steem and the Steem Dollars (SBD).

Currently (2018.04.23, 23:35 CEST) 1 Steem is $3,27 USD and $1 SBD is $3.33 USD.
My curation rewards is 0.17 Steem Power (currently $0.5559 USD) in the last 30 days and my author rewards are 1.62 Steem (currently $5.2974 USD) and $1.71 SBD (currently $5.6943 USD) in the last 30 days.
This is currently all in all $11.5476 USD in the last 30 days and I often put more than 1 hour of work into my posts and I rarely receive/get real comments, so I think that my frustration about Steemit is absolutely righteous.

This is why I feel am missing something big and interesting when ever I don't have time to come on steemit to check your post @brainphobos ...
It's always so simplified that even a newbie will get the info at first read...
I just which you were my chemistry teacher in high school....
Would have made chemistry much more easy for me to understand.... LoL
