Google Trend: Steemit Search Popularity Still Low, Chinese Users Jump into High Position

Declining of crypto currency's trading probably has influenced net users' interest to Steemit. Google Trend data shows that users' interest in "Steemit" on Google Search is still low. Google data is important because Alexa data shows that 28.70% of Steemit visitors today come from search engine and Google.com is number one in top search engine lists.

The interest declined since 28 May-3 June 2017 periode, rising a little in 6-12 May, and fall again in 20-26 May. Steemit popularity in 10-16 June periode is lower than 20-26 May.

If we look at back, Steemit popularity inclined in 18 June 2017 until 25 November 2017 on position like today. Will this pattern repeat this year?

Venezuelan is still the most users who search Steemit, similar to previous month. But Chinese jump to second position from 6 position on previous month.

South Korea, the only South Asian country @ned visit this year, is still in third position, similar to previous month. Other South Asia countries on top 10 lists are Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Indonesia, similar to previous month. The good news is that Indonesia is rising to 9 from 10 position last month.

If we zoom in to interest by city, we will find that the biggest users who search Steemit come from Lhokseumawe, Aceh, followed by Bireuen and Banda Aceh. All three cities are in Indonesia. Other cities area Maracaibo and Caracas. Both are in Venezuela.

But, Alexa shows that most users come from United States, South Korea, India, China, and Japan respectively. It means Steemit still has a chance to get new users from Indonesia and Venezuela.
