Ned wants to take our Author Rewards now!
Ned now is suggesting to remove ALL rewards for authors! What a great idea! DESTROY the ability to blog and make money! So who in their right minds would bother making good content if the only way they can earn is through up voting? Wouldn't they just up vote shit content as fast as possible and be done? This type of constant CHANGE with NO input from REAL steemians is what is killing off steem!
Ned REFUSES to look at reality! He acts like he is god here and knows what is best for us! Just look at what he has to say here:
So my suggestions: 1. There is a need for STEEM Economic Shifts. 2. There are many other Economic Shift Possibilites, such as 100% Curation Rewards and 0 Creator Rewards.
HOW can that be good? I make account XYZ and power it up with 100,000 SP then make account ABC and power it up with nothing. XYZ up votes ABC and all ABC does is post content like this "Well today is post #12345"! What a great idea! Discourage people from making GOOD posts and comments while encouraging MORE people to just up vote content that is mediocre at best!
WHY would I bother making a post if I can't earn ANYTHING from it? My only way to earn more with Ned's new proposal is to up vote others. It just is INSANE! This is why Steem is dieing and why so many people are leaving! Ned and the Steem Team REFUSE to listen to input from the middle class! Their HF20 destroyed the ability for new members to exist and grow on the platform and now they want to kill off the middle class! WHY would anyone bother with this platform after taking away the REWARD for AUTHORING good high quality content? The answer: THEY WON'T! They all will leave! IF ned is serious about this he can kiss Steem GOOD BYE because NO ONE is going to be left but the whales and accounts controlled by the top 1%!
Economics 101 states you need a poor and middle class to survive. Well HF20 killed off the poor and this proposed upgrade will kill off the middle class! With only the elite rich left who can they earn from? The value of STEEM will go to 0 since no one will want to invest into a platform that only favors the founders! This is insanity!
It is hard enough now to blog and make money. Can you shed some light on the reward pool? The last 15 of my post have ALL lost money ( a big name vote seller ). No one can or will explain why on discord, just that the market is unstable. Before that it paid out all the time, how is everyone else turning a profit? I would really like to hear from you or someone. The payouts are high at first, but in seven days it drops to a loss!
They are pricing it based on USD value which if you notice the USD/STEEM value is going DOWN! Steem is dropping in price vs the USD and is causing you to over spend before you get your reward! Just wait till ned's new upgrade that removes author rewards all together. ALL those bots will leave, all the people who earn by posting will leave, it will just be SHIT content and the steem founders (ned) left up voting eachother while the price of STEEM drops to near 0!
HF20 changed everything and now they want to remove Author Rewards all together! Just get ready for a HUGE HUGE change that will drive 98% of steemians off the platform while no new ones invest. Plankton who join can barely post and engage and land up leaving after HF20 and now the middle class is powering down and moving on because ned thinks he can impose draconian style upgrades on to us with no input from us! This upgrade is going to DESTROY steem by making sure you can't even earn as an author! WHAT is the point steem if you can't earn as an author? Why not just up vote shit content and move on every day oh and do it with a bot so you don't even have to be a human about it! This proposal will DESTROY steem and is why people like myself called ned out weeks ago and are powering down and LEAVING! Watch how quickly steem dies off if they implement these types of upgrades!
I am hardly alive after hf20 with the delegations I have received. If this type of things keep coming.. I will change my path to somewhere else..
First planktons, now minnows.... What is next? Huh? Will this platform be a 1 man platform having only its CEO in it?

DING DING DING we have a WINNER! You just hit the nail on the head and realized EXACTLY what I have been saying since HF20 went into effect! We are all going to be driven off the platform (thus why I began powering down and moving on)! There is no reason to re-invest here if you have to wait 13 weeks to cash out and the rules change every few weeks now! They are driving out EVERYONE and no new members are coming in to replace those driven out! They want to drive out someone with over 100,000 SP and then make new members have ZERO chance lol! The management (ned) is full of shit and clearly wants to destroy steem! There is no reason to be here anymore in my opinion! I can't even get new members to join anymore because of the draconian insane new rules! Invest $1,000+ or don't exist! Gee sounds like a great SCAM! Know how hard it was to get new members when you told them "Hey join here you can earn blogging" before? Now you have to invest over $1,000 just to exist here and they think new members will join! ROFL! HELL NO! And then to top it off they drove people like me who DID invest and DID recruit off the platform! GOOD JOB NED! No WONDER dan left for EOS! He realized what a FRAUD ned is!

He literally changes his posts, re-writes his own posts and hides his failures then when I call him out on his posts he just downvotes me into oblivion! That is why I decided to leave! There are 200 other options this place is dead to me! Ned thinks he is going to destroy the poor AND the middle class and succeed lol! Good luck ned! Have fun with just Steemit Inc employees and yourself because the majority of the platform is dieing and leaving!
HF20 took 5 updates to "get right". Then after it was out it showed exactly what I said and feared. That they were going to destroy plankton and minnows! Which then made dolphins and mini whales like myself decide to just leave since they are being censored now by the elite rich 1%! This is worse than USD! The USD works because they rob the middle class to pay for the poor who then votes for the rich. You can't rob EVERYONE but your team and think you will succeed lol! But hey that is what ned and steemit thinks is the right path forward. Don't believe me, go read their OWN WORDS! Go look at their OWN STATEMENTS! This is why dan left and why the majority of us are all powering down and watching the price of steem tank!

Steem is a failed project. It was great until HF20 and then it became worse and worse. Now with the new proposed updates I can't trust the direction and can't even voice my opinion without fear of being flagged... Censorship is destroying steem and is the reason we are all leaving! NO ONE supports these upgrades but those with over 1,000,000 SP! And even half of them are powering down and leaving. There is no reason to be on a platform that destroys their own members and locks your funds up for 13 weeks but changes the rules over night without even listening to your input. Ned and Steemit inc are going to watch steem die off over the next 6 months and those who don't leave will be stuck holding a bag of Steem worth about $0.001/steem!
Is the rule of 13 weeks still active ... I mean no matter how much sp I have .. I have to wait 13 weeks for power it down? 😨

Yes that rule magically never changed. Just the rest of the platform and rules you have to deal with that fuck you changed! They would probably make the lock up period longer if they could get away with it without a complete revolt!
It seems to me that they aren't interested in steemit or any type of blogging platform. I think they see profit in the steem token.
People who run smt's in the future need steem power to run them so delegating steem power will be what makes money. Plus delegating RC's will also make profit.
I guess what i'm trying to say is that they want steem as the new ethereum where people need ethereum (steem) to run erc20 tokens (smt's) So steem is the gas for smt's
That might work if smt's take off but if they don't then steem dies
So basically sacrifice the entire project, piss off all the medium/big fish like me, make it impossible for little fish and plankton to exist and think you can just change the rules over night lol?? I don't really know what steem inc and ned are trying to achieve. But i just keep all my options open.
I've signed up at weku and whaleshares.io and moving some of my content there. Plus i watch what's going on here at steemit and take action where necessary.
Plus hopefully you'll have your fork up and running soon.
One of the problems I have is that ned isn't laying out his plans for steem/steemit. He knows should he do that many of the steemains would just flat our reject it and go with something else that doesn't go along with his plans. If this is going to be all about him and what he wants perhaps we should just call it neddit and be done with it. I'd like to see a timeline laying out goals like you see some other projects do. This gives everyone else time to look at the goals, how they plan on tackling it and decide if that's good for all of us or even come up with a better way of doing it. Right now we don't have that, if you don't go along with neds plans he and his group takes away your witness votes and replaces you with someone who will. That is how he leads... To him this is how to be a leader... Can't even vote for a new leader to "Make Steem Great Again!". He/they simply have to much control for it to be our system. If you want to call it Neds system that's a whole other story as it's his to destroy but it would at least give everyone the chance to join Neds system and not think it's our system.

Go complain to ned he is the one suggesting these insane ideas! He cares nothing about what we think for some reason and just flags anyone who speaks up! Most of the people I know have began powering down and moving to other platforms.
This is so sad, and I really enjoy steemit! Before HF -20 everything was working!!! I also found out that any upvote on comments before 15 minutes just goes to zero and gets returned to reward pool. I just forgot this!!!!! I upvoted you and it just BURNED (:
I know he began downvoting me for calling him out to his face. His original post was "HF20 success congrats all steemians!" then he changed it 3 hours later to a post about how HF20 fucked us all and was going to take up to 2 weeks to sort itself out. I called him out and he downvoted my comment into oblivion! He was afraid people would see him for who he really is and see that Steem is DEAD! I began powering down since then and the more I learn about ned and steem's future the happier I am!
Their path forward is going to sacrifice EVERYONE but their core just to maintain control which in turn will lead to a massive sell off. This is why they have the 13 week lock up, so by the time the average person figures out what they are up to it is too late! Also pointed that out! They aren't making upgrades that benefit us all, they are making upgrades that benefit the top 1%! HOW can you eliminate Author Rewards and have a Blogging platform like steem? Isn't the WHOLE POINT that you earn by blogging?? So now it's just going to be earn by curations? So WHO is going to be posting? Spammers and scammers! NO ONE will waste their time to blog if they can't earn, and they already barely can! This is the straw that is going to break the camel's back! This is the last nail in the coffin! Smartest move is start powering down and tell others!
