RE: New Year, New DevPortal Updates
O yes, on Jan 1 0:00 some (not all) poorest of the poor people sot the biggest amount of fireworks into the air.
litterally burning their last penny...
But that's focussing on the wrong point. Eventhough I agree that you have to be a bone head to burn money on the first minute of the new fiscal year. No matter how rich you are....
The point is that the elite, enlightened, 'illuminati' if you will designed the monetary system that we all use today. and BY DESIGN they let the money flow upwards into their pockets.
With crypro 'we' are the designers. So if WE think that crypro is 'the solution' then we have to be smarter.
THEN WE need to design a system that does not allow money to flow up. Yet as we can see , it flows up at a staggering rate.
SO
FOR THAT
I say, include EQUALITY at the core level
make a system that lifts people out of poverty
instead of making a CRAP copy of the FIAT system that is creating poverty AT A FASTER RATE then FIAT.
Think about it, realise how it works.
Also realise that people pay 20% TAX in FIAT, TAX that flows into politics. And we all know how corrupt politics are. Yet nobody complains.
So why not use 20% of all crypto transactions to FLOW BACK into the system as an Unconditional Basic Income. so devide that 20% amongst EVERYONE EQUALLY
The people who are greedy just can be greedy, no problem.
Its just that greed then no longer comes at the cost of poverty.
A simple change in the dynamic with real positive results.
No poverty in the system
Poor people low in the system will still spend that money and 20% will flow back over and over again.
The money flow will keep the economy booming so the entire community will lift itself up.. compared to other communities this could be a very interesting mechanism.
A system based on greed is a system that is rigged to fail. As it creates poverty.
Also, that some idiots are wasting money on crap, should not be a reason to shit on other people who are NOT wasting their money on crap.
Fair enough, but for that kind of cryptocurrency to work, it has to be 100% independent of fiat currencies. This means a zero investor environment. It would have to facilitate many means of earning the coin, and on the bases of effort and labor the coin would gradually acquire intrinsic value. Institutional money or even the promise of getting fiat out of it will spoil the whole concept.
yea, and for that we need less special servers and more stuff that can be people-hosted.
Less complexity?
People should be able to configure a box at home to share diskspace and bandwidth
and for that effort then earn some coin. (instead of using AWS mobster machinery)
phase-out AWS, roll out people power
Investors put unnecessary pressure on the kettle, or at least more then wanted...
And i wish Steempeak would also display my comment message so that i can see the context.... :-)
