💰Exits and Opportunities: Bitcoin up, Steem down

So I’m going to divulge.. I only OWN STEEM, and very little of it (just look at my wallet).

I have never bought a crypto-currency with fiat. Only gold and silver as an asset. This does not mean I don’t believe in cryptocurrency. I have seen my wallet and the total in US $ dollars go down recently.

I am lucky enough to have mined the very little STEEM from my blog posts, and I will feel no loss if Steem happens to sink further. Of course there will be steemians who bought at a higher price, and this could shake some weak hands.

Sure I have invested time, but I am being honest with myself.. I have wasted immeasurable time before Steemit, and I feel I have been self reflective and honest about my time here so far. I have made some really interesting connections and respect certain people here.

In any case if Steem does happen to sink lower, I might actually think of investing. Perhaps I might be a dolphin sooner than I think. Exits and opportunities. So to me, I would rather not see any kind of migration out, but if there were I am sure @blocktrades might have someone picking up STEEM. Whenever there are sellers, there will be buyers.

To my Steemians who are concerned about price fluctuations, don’t take any investment advice from me. I’m not a gambler, but I do believe Steem still has a pretty good future. After I hit the post button, I’m always excited to see if I get upvotes

Kinda addictive!

If I leave steemit with nothing other than the insights, opinions, and glimpses into other people's lives that I've been able to see while I am here...then I am still leaving a rich man, no matter what my wallet says.

I'm here for the long run...I hope you are too!

Steemit is one of my hobbies. It is too volatile for me to look at it as an investment. I haven’t cashed out one crypto; although I tried trading on bittrex for some fun. That didn’t pan out as I was losing more than I was gaining. So i’m sticking with STEEM and continue to do so. People have been blogging and posting on facebook forever. At least here t’s fun to get a jackpot.. but I’m not using it for economic means; at least not at this point. I mean common my $600 bucks would last a day or tso with the kind of expenses I have.

Lol...maybe I can get a tank of gas at this point, but that is about it
