What to choose for "MUTE" or "FLAG"? (3.114)

I have been on Steem for a long time. Steem changes people. In most cases, this is a positive change. Often this system creates opportunities to think about the actions and motivation of different people.

In this post, I will write about my habits to using MUTE and FLAG. In fact, I rarely use these options.

Let's return to the early times of Steem.
At that time, I used the MUTE button very often. I'll explain why.
I live and was born in Ukraine. This is a good and civilized country. We have many negative points, but we see it and we strive to become better. Ukrainian mentality is similar to European.

We were not lucky with a neighbor. Our neighbor is one aggressive country. I will not name the names of this state for ethical reasons. The part of the population there is very aggressive.
They are victims of propaganda. Well, like a zombie. Even on the Internet. Not all people are bad there. Many of them are just victims of brutal propaganda. Among them there are normal people. I personally communicate with some citizens of this bad country.

At the beginning of Steem's work, many citizens of this country wrote to me all bad comments. They offended my people and my country. Accordingly, I used MUTE button. This is a great solution. This makes it possible not to see these personalities. Use FLAG in this case will be brutal. In essence, they do not harm the system.
This is an example of my life. That is, I use the MUTE button against people who do not like me personally.

There is another group of bad people. Spammers, thieves, scammers and etc. I use FLAG against such type of accounts This makes their posts less noticeable. Perhaps this way they will have less chance of damaging the system. FLAG also reduces the reward. FLAG returns a reward to REWARDS POOL. Remember that FLAG will decrease your VOTE POWER. It's like upvotes, but vice versa.

Conclusion.
I use MUTE against people who do not like me personally.
I use FLAG against people who are evil for Steem.

Я давно на Стім. Стім міняє людей. У більшості випадків це позитивні зміни. Мабуть це система створена щоб давати можливість замислитися про вчинки та мотивацію різних людей.

У цьому пості я напишу про моє відношення до використання MUTE та FLAG. Насправді я дуже рідко користуюся цими опціями. Але це було не завжди так.

Повернемося до часів створення Стіма.
У той час я використовував кнопку MUTE дуже часто. Поясню чому.
Я живу та народився в Україні. Це хороша та цивілізована країна. Ми маємо багато негативних моментів, але ми це бачимо й прагнемо ставати кращими. Український менталітет схожий на Европейский.

Нам не пощастило з сусідом. Наш сусід це агресивна держвва. Я не буду називати назви цієї держави з етичних міркувань.Частина населеня там дуже агресивне.
Вони жертви пропаганди. Ну як зомбі. Навіть в інтернеті. Не усі люди там погані. Багато з них просто жертви жорстокої пропаганди. Серед них є і нормальні люди. З деякими я особисто спілкуюся.

На початку роботи Стіма, багато громадян цієї держави писали мені усякі погані коментарі. Вони ображали мій народ та мої країну. Відповідно я використовував кнопку MUTE. Це чудове рішення. Це дає можливість не бачити цих особистостей. Використовувати FLAG у цьому випадку буде жорстоко. По суті вони не шкодять системі.
Такий приклад з мого життя. Тобто я використовую кнопку MUTE проти людей які не подобаються особисто мені.

Е і інша група поганих людей. Спамери, крадії, шахраї і подібні. Ось проти цих акаунтів я використовую FLAG. Це робить їх пости меньше помітними. Можливо таким чином вони будуть мати меньше можливість зашкодити системі. Також FLAG зменьшує винагороду. Він вертає винагороду у REWARDS POOL. Пам'ятайте що FLAG зменьшує вашу VOTE POWER. Це як upvotes, але навпаки.

Висновок.
Я використовую MUTE проти людей які не подобаються особисто мені. Я використовую FLAG проти людей які шкодять Стіму.
